(From Demetrius's Perspective)
"Your Mommy's finally here," I whispered to my son.
Soon, my wife entered the bedroom, her face flushed and arms spread as she greeted our son first. She placed a small packet on the tea table before running to our son who was on the bed, as I was playing with him.
"Aww, my sweet little baby, did you miss Mommy?" she said and scooped him in her arms. She kissed Dion and tickled his belly with her nose, making him laugh happily. "Mommy got you a lot of clothes and toys. Are you excited? If it was not hot outside, Mommy would have taken you too."
"The fact that Mommy forgot about Daddy makes Daddy hurt, you know?"
"Tell Daddy that he made Mommy mad, so Mommy was angry," she said, looking at the baby. "But Mommy is not that angry anymore and if Daddy promised to behave and not argue with Mommy when Mommy is right, Mommy might give him a hug too."
