(From Demetrius's Perspective)
I did not know if it was right or wrong, but keeping all my motives and all those things from her seemed like a terrible move. I kept feeling like she was being wronged by me when she told me everything, but I did not.
I had a little bit of suspicion that she might come to resent me. But for the most part, I knew she would forgive me and accept me regardless of the kind of person I was. She wanted someone who would love her and only her, to be loyal to her. I had been that person and I would always be that person without even trying because, in my eyes, it was just her. I had been the person to show her endless love. And that was all she needed to accept me.
At least, that was what I believed.
"I will. I will always love you," she said, her voice clear and rigid.
It was proof of my belief.
