To his complete surprise, when First Prince Halen asked the First Princess to help him plan the next day's countermeasures, she completely refused.
"But why not?" The young Prince frowned. He couldn't understand why his eldest sister would suddenly refuse to help him, especially when she had never refused to do so before.
"It's not that I do not want to help you little beast, but there comes a time when every Sovereign must make his own choices," she explained to him in a very caring and patient tone. "You sat upon the Throne of Light, and presided over the sovereign court, so you must act as a Sovereign would."
Prince Halen still did not understand all of this. He only wanted his sister to give him guidance in accordance to the next day's events. In his mind, there was no reason for her to refuse.
"If this is because of your confinement, I can have it lifted at once," he offered hopefully.
