If the Sovereign had been able to see himself from the perspective of an outsider, he would feel concerned for the weight of his own thoughts. A difficult burden had settled itself on his shoulders, and if he wasn't careful, it would break him.
If the First Princess had seen him, she would have directly laughed and said that he was thinking too much. How could she be knowledgeable about things that she had not learned before? Wasn't it a little too fantastical to think such things of her?
But while the First Princess was indeed laughing, it was not at the Su'Datheram.
There was something about her laugh that seemed to invoke a brand new curse over the land. Every time her soft lips parted and her white teeth showed, a flower would whither up and die.
Soldiers flanked her on either side, hands on their weapons as if they were ready to take down a very ferocious enemy, and not a seemingly frail victim of a deeper scheme.
