A dead silence descended upon the sovereign court as all of the Su'ne looked at each other with mounting uncertainty. The greater sun was barely past its highest point, and already they were facing an emergency union.
The Council of Eight had directly waived a private meeting amongst themselves and had taken the matter straight to the sovereign court. Such was the pressing nature of the matter.
And currently, none of the people present knew what to do. They didn't even know how things had come to this point.
"The Light's Watch has not responded to any of our requests to cease and desist, Your Majesty." Su'na Kuzreni shifted awkwardly as he reported. "They do not seem to acknowledge Light Tower's messengers at all."
The Su'Datheram, Derzev Hellfryne, looked at his court with blood in both eyes. They were so full of rage that they seemed to become brighter, like gold in the midday suns.
