The junior maid went running to the barracks first. In her understanding, the First Prince was very close to the First Princess and would not allow her to be beaten so severely.
"I have an urgent message for the First Prince!" She anxiously relayed to the guards at the door of the grounds. "Please let me in! The Su'Adrit's senior maid has sent me!"
The knights standing guard looked at each other for a moment, as if deciding whether to let her through or not. However, the junior maid had no time for their lallygagging and directly ran past them.
"Hey!" The guards wanted to run after her, but they couldn't leave their posts. They could only anxiously clutch their swords and yell, "Intruder! Catch her!"
The junior maid raised her skirts to run faster. Her little face was red with exertion, but she didn't dare to slow down and directly ended up running into the staulten covered chest of a passing knight.
