Verinia felt her headache begin to intensify. She grimaced as her fingers pressed into the sides of her forehead.
The Prince's residences were a separate section and she did not have the authority to question them directly. Although this matter was highly suspicious, there was little she could do about it.
"Your Sovereign Highness, what do we do?" Eva's face was now pale as she turned toward her mistress. "They… they wouldn't— are they—?"
Verinia looked back down at the servant on the ground. "Ask her why she was ordered to clean those rooms."
"Reporting to Honourable Senior, Third Prince is holding selections to fill Zenith Palace's harem. Twelve women will be selected to become concubines."
"Does he have the space to keep twelve more women?" Eva glanced between her mistress and the slave on the ground.
