Beside her, on another pillar, the First Prince was standing on the tips of his toes also, perfectly steady. The only thing was that his face was flushed red, and his eyes were squinted.
Of all the five energies, the blood energy, or tach, was the most difficult to control. This was because the blood energy had a will of its own, and in order to control it, one needed to exercise wen control at the same time.
Doing so required a very high level of concentration, and the First Prince was having a difficult time managing to do both taxing things in order to concentrate his blood flow.
