"Someone used witchcraft to try and strangle you?" General Elai's expression was very strange as he looked at her throat. "How are you fine?"
"I can turn control my senses at will." She tapped his shoulder and motion with her chin to keep moving. "He's dead now."
Not only the man who had tried to kill her, even the Anthipeia girl he was with had died.
"Did you kill them?"
"Of course not." She tipped up her chin. "I merely caused their death."
General Elai heard her words and the corners of his mouth twitched.
Was there a difference in what she had just said and what he had asked? If she caused someone's death, wasn't it equivalent to killing them?
This Su'Adrit sure had some curious views, and he couldn't help feeling amused by her.
"If they already failed twice, why are they insisting?" He couldn't help but ask. "It seems counterproductive to repeatedly attempt to murder someone. Won't they just be wasting time?"
