"I'm making tarts." Second Princess Faeris had her arms stretched as far as they could go. She couldn't stand much closer to the table because of her belly, which was quite large.
Actually, abnormally so.
"Aren't you tired?" Verinia would have offered to help, but she did not know how to deal with anything regarding food. She couldn't cook and she couldn't bake, so there was nothing for her to help with.
"I'm not tired." Princess Faeris huffed as soon as she said that and the side of her belly protruded strangely. She lost all of her breath and her face turned red.
The First Princess was surprised, but not alarmed. She had seen these movements from unborn children before. At most, it would produce discomfort for the mother but was not serious.
"Come sit." Verinia guided her sister away from the table and let her sit down. Time was going by, and Faeris would be due soon.
