While waiting for a bus, Adaline saw a little injured kitten in the middle of the road. Louise dashed into the road without hesitation to save the cat from being hit by a car. The truck driver noticed the girl on the road and immediately stomped the break, luckily the truck stopped and no one was hurt. She swiftly picked up the cat and apologized to the truck driver. The driver simply sighs and says: "Thank, God! You are not hurt. Be careful next time." Adaline just offered an apologetic smile.
The kitten's shivering was noticed by Adaline. She raced to the nearest vet facility and had the cat examined by the doctor. Adaline asks, referring to the kitten she'd just rescued. "What's the cause of his shivering?" Adaline inquires, referring to the cat she had just rescued. "Oh! So he's got an injury and he's malnourished, so the best thing you can do is allow him to eat, drink milk, and give him medicine on a daily basis, "the doctor explains.
The veterinarian provided a receipt for the cat's medicines and medical expenses. Louise's eyes are wide with surprise as she examines the receipt. 'I had no idea it would cost me so much,' Louise thought. "Regarding the payment... I had no idea it would be that expensive. I don't have enough money." Adaline took a short break to gather some courage. "Um, may I pay you when I get my job income?". The doctor sighed and said, "OK, sure." Adaline quickly smiled and handed the doctor her phone number.

I noticed my phone was ringing, so I excused myself to the doctor. "Hello? Who's this?" I asked. "Hey bitch, it's me, Amy. Where are you? ". Amy is my one and only friend. I met her at the orphanage when I was a kid. The orphanage is owned by her dad. Amy, together with her father, always visited the orphanage every Sunday, and eventually, we became friends after that. "I'm at the vet," I told her, gazing at the doctor who was 5 feet away. "Why? "You don't even have a pet," Amy pointed out. "It's because..." I say, and then I tell her what happened. "Oh, okay, I see. You really love animals, don't you? Oh, and by the way, let's go get lunch together later." Before I could answer, she had already ended the call.
Adaline went back to the doctor and apologized, "Uhm, so I'm Adaline, hehe. What's your name, doctor? " Adaline asked. "Oh, nice to meet you, Adaline. I'm Caden.
