Darius stared back at the crown prince with a blank expression. His purple eyes were cold and calculating; his lips curved into a slight frown.
The crown prince has his doubt and detests Darius – that much is certain.
But of course, the ravenette understands Daniel. After all, there's a chance that many people had claimed the title of the divine knight with the hopes of receiving easy money and glory.
This is why he himself doubted that the royal family will pay them any mind. In fact, he even thought that it would be impossible to have an audience with the royal family even with Eric's help.
"Then, would you like to test me?" Darius said, his gaze not leaving the crown prince's azure orbs.
While Darius merely wished to quickly end the audience and be on his not-so-merry way to finish the quest, his words sounded like a challenge in the ears of the crown prince.
It was harsh and cold as if the ravenette was mocking him.
