The salty breeze brushed against their faces as the massive wave crashes against the rocky shore – the sound of the water slapping barnacle-covered rocks was so loud they sounded like thunderclaps.
In the blue sky, the sun was high – its brilliant rays scorching the sand while the seagulls are gliding along with the strong wind.
Darius had seen the sea a few times before, but this has to be the first time he had seen it so untamed. The enormous waves kept coming towards the shore - washing up the sand and shells with its strong current.
"This is as far as we can go," one of the scouts announced.
"That's fine, we can handle the rest," Darius gave them a nod.
As it turns out, the quest of finding Eldric's cure will lead him back to the human realm.
This means they are now outside of the elves' sphere of influence.
