The serpent slithered around Darius - its meticulous eyes looking for a weakness and a perfect opportunity to attack.
Darius on the other hand focused his senses on the serpent's movements. Luckily for him, his heightened senses are very useful on the battlefield.
The serpent struck from his back, its spear aiming at Darius' torso.
The young man, on the other hand, deflected the attack using his sword.

Their weapons met and the two continued to exchange blows.
Everything unfolded so quickly that the people inside the barrier could only see the sparks the weapons are creating each time they collides.
"Not bad," the serpent said.
