Arrows shot into the air as the scouts countered the assault, creating magic barriers to prevent further damage.
"Frank! Frank!" The leader of the scouts called to, grabbing the younger elf closer. "Take your horse and leave for the city, you must tell the council what's happening here. We will provide cover for you until you're out of range."
"O-okay," Frank said shakily.
A massive boulder was launched into the air, and with a strong impact that the barrier broke.
"Reinforce it," the scouts immediately worked into creating another barrier, as they are forced into a defensive position.
"Hurry Frank we're counting on you, the safety of the realm is in your hands." The scout leader said.
"Tell the chief, the dark elves had allied to the enemy forces."
Frank nodded his head before bolting into his horse.
As if on cue, more arrows were shot into the air. But all of them were immediately blocked by the scouts.
