The council room went to complete silence as the door closed, once Eldric and his friends left. All eyes were directed towards Darius.
Easton sighed before deciding to break the tension.
"I believe that introductions are on call." He begun.
The rest of the council remained silent for a moment, and an uncomfortable atmosphere is starting to thicken.
Feli stepped forward, the young cheerful griffin chimed in, blowing away the tension in the room.
"Hi! I'm Feli!" He said, his sparkling eyes looking at the elves with anticipation.
Easton smiled at the young griffin, "It's wonderful to meet you Feli."
His words caught Darius' attention, as far as he knows only Kala, Alexander, and himself can understand Feli.
The leader of the council caught his gaze, causing him to look away.
"Elves can understand most creatures, just like the fairies, we are sensitive to nature," Easton explained.
