THUD! THUD!
The drawer moved a thud as the guards slammed against the other side of the door. A small crack started to appear in the polished wooden door.
"What now?" Brennan asked, a little worried.
"Here, use this," she tossed a display sword towards Brennan.
The young held the hilt of the sword in his hand, he frowned, Brennan knows how bad he is with swords and it makes him nervous just thinking about fighting using them.
"It will be all fine," Kendra reassured him.
"Maybe, I can just aim for none fatal points, I don't feel confident using a sword," Brennan admitted.
"If that's what you want then go," Kendra smiled, which Brennan gladly returned.
CRASH!
The drawer fell to the ground, while the door cracked open. Followed by the guards, who came pouring in, much to the travelers' disappointment.
"Surrender now!" The guard demanded, his sword pointed at the two.
