Using the stealth ability he gained from Black Annis, Darius when in the other direction, making sure that he was away from the rest of the first squadron before showing himself.
Darius stood behind one of the trolls and slashed its head off with a single strike. Upon contact the veil of invisibility slowly unraveled.
Standing there with cold eyes he stared the humanoid serpent in the eye.
"Kill him," the serpent commanded his gaze not leaving Darius.
The monsters started charging towards Darius, while some of them are throwing spears in his direction. Which Darius managed to dodge and block.
The ravenette stayed in the same spot for a moment, before running off deeper into the forest. Leading the hoard of monsters away from his friends.
"After him!" The serpent shouted before slithering to the direction Darius run to, completely forgetting the rest of the squadron.
