The young man tossed another stone into the pool. The small stone skipped thrice on the surface of the water before sinking with a subtle 'blop'.
Brennan sighed as he stared at the ripples while they slowly grows and eventually disappears.
Without much thought, Brennan went to pick up another stone.
He sighed once more as he stared at the small stone, his thumb grazing over the top to remove the bits of sand sticking to its surface.
"This sucks, I want to join the fight but it's not possible," he clicked his tongue out of sheer frustration.
While Feli just tilted his head since the young griffin knows that Brennan won't understand him even if he says something.
Brennan threw the stone and once again it skipped on the surface of the water – just like the other stones did several times before.
"Why can't we do something? Anything? Geez!" Brennan scratched his head.
