At that moment Damian entered Helios's work space and saw his superior who was hugging his beloved sister affectionately and his sister's face which looked displeased with it.
"What's going on here?" asked Sir Damian who seemed like his anger was about to explode when he saw Helios hugging Rowena
"His Majesty is drunk just because he's had two glasses of wine and I want to go back to my tent. But I'm being held like this so I can't go out," answered Rowena who seemed to feel uncomfortable.
Damian walked over to the two of them then pulled Helios from behind. He quickly carried Helios to his bed so Rowena could get out of there.
"Thank you brother for your help. Then I'll go back to my room first. Good night." Rowena stepped out of Helios's work space.
"Good night and sweet dreams," Sir Damian replied.
The next day for some reason Prince Helios kept avoiding Rowena. This made Rowena feel a little annoyed and irritated. She himself felt that she had done nothing wrong but why did the man always avoid him? As she recalled yesterday they only drank together and then Helios who was very drunk after finishing two glasses of wine.
In the evening Rowena decided to visit Helios' work space again to discuss yesterday's strategy. Arriving there, he was told by the guards that Helios was in the hot springs in the palace.
Rowena immediately walked to the said hot spring. Along the way, Rowena kept asking the people in the palace about the whereabouts of the hot springs. It was a natural thing because while in Valeccio's palace, Rowena had never been around the palace. All she visited was Prince Helios' work space, the dining room, the military training ground, and her own room.
After hard searching, Rowena finally arrived at a uniquely shaped building which is said to be a hot spring pool. At the main door of the building, she was immediately greeted by two maids who escorted him to the changing room. For a moment Rowena felt deja vu about it.
The maids replaced her casual clothes with a very light night gown. This made Rowena feel confused again. What was Rowena's position in the eyes of the maids?
After changing clothes, Rowena opened the door to the hot spring pool. There she saw a shirtless Helios soaking in the pool while closing his eyes. Rowena tried to walk as slowly as possible so that Helios didn't hear her footsteps. She sat right next to Helios and soaked her feet in the pool.
It felt like half of the burden on her mind was instantly gone. Prince Helios opened his eyes when he felt the water splash when Rowena's feet entered the pool. Rowena, who was enjoying herself so much now, suddenly forgot that Helios was beside her.
Helios's cheeks turned red when he saw Rowena who was wearing the thin night gown. Suddenly the air inside became very hot for Prince Helios. Rowena who felt a sharp gaze from beside her immediately turned to Prince Helios. She looked at Helios with an innocent face.
"Are you awake from your deep sleep?" Rowena asked.
"I didn't sleep at all. I just closed my eyes for a moment. Then what is your purpose in meeting me here?"
Rowena soaked her whole body into the hot spring pool. Helios's face turned redder when he saw Rowena's body which was clearly visible because she was wearing a very dreamy night gown so that all parts of her body could be seen clearly by Helios. Rowena didn't care about that at all.
"I want to talk again about the strategy I presented yesterday. And also..."
"And also what?" asked Helios whose face was still red.
"Wait a minute. Is the temperature of the water here too hot for your body?" Rowena brought her face closer to Helios's and held the man's cheeks with both hands.
Helios even made a mistake. "What do you mean?"
"Your face is as red as a boiled crab right now. Are you all right?" said Rowena who looked worried.
Helios subconsciously removed Rowena's hands from her face and said, "S-So what did you want to say just now?"
"Oh, it's just a trivial matter and has nothing to do with war. Somehow I feel that today you are deliberately distancing yourself from me? Did I do something wrong last night?"
The reason Prince Helios was trying to stay away from Rowena today was because he had remembered his bad behavior when he was heavily drunk last night. He was about to confess his love for the girl he loved. In addition, he also hugged Rowena arbitrarily. It made him so ashamed to the core.
Helios looked the other way. "No, you didn't do anything wrong at all. Maybe you got the wrong idea. Today I was very busy making arrangements for our departure to Scarka."
"Seems like you're right," answered Rowena who felt Helios' words made sense.
Yet Rowena could be sensitive about Helios avoiding her today. But why was she still insensitive to Helios' feelings all this time? It made Helios dizzy just thinking about it.
Helios immediately came out of the pool. He was a little embarrassed because he didn't have a single piece of cloth on him at all, though Rowena still looked at him without feeling awkward.
"Then I'll go back to my room first. See you tomorrow, Rowena," said Helios before leaving.
"See you soon, Helios," replied Rowena, who had closed her eyes.
Rowena still lives there. She wanted to relax first before starting the action tomorrow. It felt like her heart was really very happy because she could feel a calm that she had never felt before. The atmosphere is quiet, the smell of candles whose wicks have burned is very soothing, and the warm water that touches her body.
The next day Prince Helios, Sir Cedric and Sir Damian were waiting for Rowena at the gates of Valeccio's palace. The woman still hasn't come until now. Did she wake up late? Did she forget about his departure? Nobody knows about it.
Finally the long awaited has arrived. Rowena who wore a simple orange dress which was the daily clothes of the Valeccio nobles and did not miss the jewelry she wore from head to toe. Sir Cedric and Prince Helios couldn't help but stare at the woman.
Wait a minute... Come to think of it why would that woman wear such a dress and such flashy jewelry to go to Scarka? Aren't they there just to investigate the situation there? Sir Cedric and Sir Damian were again confused by Rowena.
"I'm sorry for being late," Rowena said breathlessly.
