Currently, I was waiting by the station for Susan to arrive. I planned of taking a more casual approach, so I wore some brand name jacket and jeans. Though they look good, it isn't anything too flashy, just good enough for outdoors. While I am waiting, I can hear exclaims of people from nearby. Heads turn one by one as a bewitching maiden is heading here. She is in a blouse with a light floral print on it. It has a cordial feeling to it. The clothing also shows off a bit of her body line. Though I already knew about it, I could properly appreciate her hefty breasts. They were enormous. She also has some light makeup, which emphasizes her facial features. All in all, she is completely astounding.
"Hey Mike, I am here." She calls out to me while waving her hand. Her face has a beam of joyous eagerness in it, almost shining so brightly that the surroundings look like a stark contrast to her.
Many men nearby give me envious glares, wondering how many lifetimes of luck I had used to land up with such a pretty woman. Truth is, it is more like I had used all my luck and then squandered for the silliest of reasons. I shouldn't wrap my mind in negative thoughts, let's just enjoy ourselves.
"What's wrong?" I am suddenly brought back to reality as Susan's face is right in front of mine. I quickly back off. My face feels like it is burning up. Our noses were almost touching.
"Geez Susan, you almost surprised me," I complain back to her, hiding my embarrassment.
"You just stood still for a second, I was worried whether something was wrong, but it's just Mike being a big dummy." She mocks me while trying to stifle her laughter. It's unfair how cute she looks.
"Yeah, yeah. Laugh all you want, just be prepared for my revenge."
"Oh! I can't wait." She replies with all smiles, not heeding my warning. Well, too bad for her. She will soon be drowning in tears.
"So, what's the plan?" She asks while wounding her arm around mine. It catches me off-guard but I suppose it is normal since we are acting like a couple.
"You're about to have your time of your life. That's the plan." I snarkly reply to her. She snickers while whispering in my ear.
"Oh really? Lead the way, boyfriend~" damn, she isn't taking me seriously at all. Rather, she is even continuing her teasing.
"Just you wait, I won't forgive you even if you beg for it."
"Oh, really? I can't wait ♡."
I lead the way through the crowd, which forms around us. Susan really is attracting a lot of people here. Our first destination is the carnival. When we were kids, it used to be our go-to place during the weekends. We share a lot of memories there. Today is a weekend so there will be many people, but I can't wait to hang out with Susan.
"The carnival? That makes me nostalgic." Susan says while tugging onto my arm.
"Yeah, I remember having a blast in here together."
"Oh look, it's the bird mascot!" She points at the costume guy who is handing balloons to kids. She drags me along to meet it, looks like she is enjoying herself.
"Oh my god, it's so cute. The bird costume is just like I remember it to be." She exclaims.
The mascot notices her and starts gesturing to us. He points at us before making a heart-shaped sign with his fingers. Both of us could figure out he is referring to us as a couple.
"Yeah, my boyfriend brought me here. Would you mind taking a picture with us?" The mascot nods in response and brings both of us close. I stand in the middle with both of them beside me. She pulls out her smartphone and angles it to take a selfie of the entire group.
"Say cheese!" Snap. The shutter rings off. Susan flaunts the photo which has both of us in it. Looking at the picture, I had to admit I didn't look half bad myself.
"What are you dawdling for, let's go check out the rides!" She drags me around again. It makes me rethink whether it is me who planned the date or her.
We visit all the rides one by one. The bumper cars, roller coaster, drop tower, pirate ship, teacup ride, we take a ride in each of them. Susan seems to have a blast. She couldn't stop laughing or shouting when she got on those rides. I am not any better in comparison. Whenever I feel the exhilaration, I just feel like shouting my lungs out too.
We take a brief break and start visiting the stalls. The food there is pretty decent. Hotdogs, cotton candy, burgers, fish sticks and a lot more assortment of goods. I find out Susan is a much bigger glutton than I knew her to be. Though I remember her appetite being big, she engorged double or triple my amount.
"Hey Mike, there's some cotton candy stuck in your face."
I try to rub my face to get it off.
"Is it off yet?"
"No silly, here. Let me help you." Susan stretches out her hands and picks the leftover cotton below my lips. She takes that bit and puts it in her mouth.
"Mmm~, tasty." She licks her lips and smiles, giving me a lewd teasing look.
I couldn't help but blush at that. She totally realizes what she is doing. Seeing my reaction, she gives a playful laugh.
"Mike, you're so innocent. Something like this is normal even with my boyfriend."
A sour taste enters my mouth. She mentions her boyfriend again. Did she mean she is already past the kissing stage? I wonder what else has she done with him. Perhaps they have done more adult stuff. These negative thoughts just make me feel pathetic. Susan isn't my girl. It isn't my business whom she does it with, but why does my heart hurt so much?
"What are you mulling over? We still haven't used the Ferris Wheel yet!" Susan skittishly holds my hand while pointing at it. The Ferris Wheel had been left as our last attraction. We knew the night view of the whole place would look amazing, so we waited until then. I shrug off my depressing thoughts and give a weak smile.
"Sure, let's go, Susan."
It doesn't take long for us to get our turn. We enter the Ferris carriage and it soon lifts us up. As it went up, we can see the whole carnival from here. The scene looks dazzling; its beauty mesmerizes me. Truly a sight to behold.
"Wow, so pretty!" Susan chides while looking through the same window.
"Yeah, it really is." I said so while looking at Susan. It would be a lie if I didn't think she looks beautiful at this moment. Her eyes looking through the window like a jovial child, it felt like she is the only radiant light in the world.
We enjoy the rotating ferris wheel. I suddenly felt a bit drowsy, so I tried to drink some water. Sadly, it didn't help. While Susan is distracted, she surely wouldn't mind a quick nap. I close my eyes with that comforting thought. I will wake up by the time the ride ends.
When I wake up, I notice that I am laying on a bench. Susan is giving me a lap pillow. Her eyes contain a motherly stare as she plays with my hair.
"Oh, you're awake? How rude of you to sleep in front of your girlfriend. Am I that boring?" She mischievously complains to me, but right now I couldn't bother with that. Something else is plaguing my mind.
"Quick, Susan. Tell me the time!"
"It's almost 8:30."
"Shit, we'll have to make a run for it."
"Wait, what's going on?" I didn't answer her and ran while dragging her along.
We run out of the carnival and go past the street. After a few minutes, a movie theater enters my vision.
"We're going to watch a film?" She questions me. After running so long, she didn't seem tired at all. As for me, I am totally breathless. Susan is a lot more athletic than I expected her to be.
"Y-yeah huff, let's go in."
I give the tickets to the ticket collector and head into our respective hall. Inside it is completely empty, there were only the two of us there.
"What film is this, don't tell me…" Susan asks before finding the answer itself.
"Yeah, it is your favourite film. You really love Cinderella Man, didn't you? I remember how incessantly you talked about it when we saw it first."
Susan makes a sniffing sound. Is she crying?
"You remembered!?" She sounded very pleased, I am glad I reserved the theatre for the two of us.
"It is the least I could do for my childhood friend."
"Thank you Mike, I love you!"
"Shhh, the film is about to start." Both of us quieten down as the movie starts playing. She holds my hand. The film completely enraptures Susan. I start to enjoy the movie along with her. By the end of the film, she is in tears. Not because the ending is sad or anything, it is just because of how happy she is.
"I am so glad you remembered it, Mike." She smiles with tears flowing down her face.
"This was my revenge. How does it feel crying before the mighty me?"
"Thank you mighty one, I loved your punishment ♡," she wipes her tears away before giving a gleaming smile.
"As for repenting for my sins, please take me out for more dates, dear child-hood-friend ♡," Susan says while she lays her head on my shoulder. I keep thinking about how to answer her proposal. My week will be jam-packed if we had more dates, but it's not like I didn't want them or anything.
"As you wish, milady."
Thus we promise to continue having more training dates with each other.
