Alby picked up the velvet arachnids core it was almost the same size as Alby himself.
Alby struggled to pick it up, he used every bit of force he had to try and pick it up but he couldn't, sweat began to pour off of his face covering his brows.
"Urgh.. this thing is huge, and you want me to bring this with me? How can I pick something that is almost as big as me but father whats with this vibration from the core, I can feel a sensation within me that just flows it's almost as if I can feel the mana, it's warm and surging around my body..."
Alby placed his hands onto the core, he closed his eyes it was as if his body has an instinctive function that's controlling his body.
"You are one lucky brat Alby you know that right, this core is filled with nothing but mana, not just mana but if it's vibrating with you then this my son is called "Syncornich Vibration" and what that means is that you and only you are capable of absorbing this whole core and making it yours, my plan was bringing it with us and smashing it into pieces, then allowing you to absorb the middle core fragment that allows its user to start feeling mana around them, but this plan has become something more, you are compatible of absorbing this whole core dry."
Lucas picked up the core, he whipped out a small bag from the left of his waist, placed his hand at the bottom of this small bag then fed it a little bit of mana, the bag engulfed the large core without a struggle.
"Huh.. how can a small bag keep something that big inside of it and still be so small... how is this possible? does that mean I can steal a tower from Terendale and just take it with me anywhere?"
Alby looked in awe as he wanted one of those bags, his eyes widened beyond belief, then realised what his father said.
"Hold on did you say I can absorb this whole mana core and only me? hows that possible, I'm not a magician, in fact, I'm nothing more than a simple civilian that hunts for food."
Alby was confused, he's never been able to sense mana, but Lucas knows the reason for that.
"No Alby you're not just a civilian or a peasant or anything, you, my one and only son... you are something more than that, in fact, you are the only child in history to be of a race that isn't actually human, both I and your mother are from two different races, just we use magic to make us look human, in fact, you are a half breed between two ancient and mystic races, in this world, there are a total of forty Night Elves and you are a half breed Night Elf."
"Your mother on the other hand is a Blood Elf, they keep themselves hidden, that's why she's so talented towards nature itself, just we look human due to certain circumstances that we shall only tell you at a later date and that's a promise"
With that Alby sat down gasping for air as if he had lost his breath, his life and his parents as he knew it was a total lie he didn't know what to think his mind was in a state of confusion, Alby tried his best to wrap his head around it but he became more and more curious, his mind wandered from question to question urging to be heard.
"So father, you're telling me that I am the only one of my kind between a Night Elf and a Blood elf, so what am I? am I a Night Blood?"
Lucas held his son's shoulders, and with a calm voice, he spoke the truth.
"There has only been one other instance of this happening and this was 90,000 years ago, back when Eldreth the country of all Night Elves, the paradise for us, went to war with the blood elves, to keep the peace between the two races they organised a marriage between the two high royal children Vel'dora the prince of Eldreth and Princess Zalise the heir to Hal'Jev things were going smoothly until Zalise got pregnant when she gave birth they called that baby boy Venneri, the race itself was discussed by not only both countries but the other major countries, they came up with a name for that race, they called it Tirandor, it was an existence that became banned from ever happening again, Venneri Hit the age of 14 it killed its parents, after years of being soaked in nothing but Mana like it was a traditional elf, it became so strong that almost nothing could stop him, I became a problem to all the other countries as it grew old, that's when a whole new war came about, the war so bloody, so vile that an old sage from the humans called Belentia cast a teleportation spell upon the whole of Venneri's Army of millions, and teleported them into a completely different dimension.
That old sage became the light that the humans needed, after that, they got recognition from every other single race that existed within this world when the old sage died he left behind a small soul fragment that allowed humans to learn little bits of what he had learnt from when he was alive."
Lucas explained everything to Alby so he would somewhat understand what was going on and the fact he was a different race he was in fact a Tirandor a race that once knew of mana they became so overwhelming it was almost impossible to stop then, unfortunately, they became so engrossed in power even from a young age they have the tendency to kill anyone and anything.
"Will I turn out like him father? will I turn out like that Venneri who killed both of his parents, and another question, if my race is banned why am I here?"
Alby asked a question that even his father couldn't say anything to, he stood there and just smiled at Alby.
"My son, if you learn to control all this power that you'll start to learn and gather from in your life you will not turn out like him, to answer your other question, well all I can say is DO NOT reveal your race to anyone I will teach you the secret method to staying human so until that time is right or you're in a very desperate situation, don't even transform into your true being, but for now while I am here I will let you see your true self."
With that Lucas waved his hand, a white light gently wrapped out Alby then picked him up, the light got brighter and brighter as Alby slowly levitated upwards just above the tree line, then with a sudden burst, the white light burst open and formed what looked like petals that gradually fell to the floor in a light flickering motion.
Alby landed on his feet, then looked at his hands, his hands were normal looking, everything was almost normal, he started to feel around his face and his head, he noticed his ears had gotten rather big, his forehead had grown little antlers, but the difference was his eyes, they were a pitch black with only a glowing red ring for pupils, he had the ears of his mother, antlers of his father, Eyes of a Tirandor.
"Eh father this is me?"
Alby's shocked expression sounded as if he was exhausted, shocked and overwhelmed all at the same time, he loved the way he looked just from the feeling he had, and the feeling he felt from his hands.
"My son, when times goes on and you become stronger that's when I will tell you everything, of how I and your mother got together and who me and your mother are, that's a promise, for now, let's get you to where we are going and then teach you everything that I know, you never know your mother might teach you everything she knows as well, if you're able to learn everything you can you yourself could be an existence that cannot be ignored, people might start looking at you differently than you'll be able to leave your mark on the world in a good way."
Lucas held Alby close for a hug, they both wrapped their arms around each other and squeezed tightly, before picking everything up and leaving the area of the spider's territory, laughing and joking with each other.
Alby looked at his father with passionate burning eyes, wondering to himself if he will be like his father who is kind but when needed serious and strong.
"Father I promise I will try my best to control what happens to me, I will not turn out evil like Venneri, I swear on my life, and If I do turn out like him, please would you and mother end my life before I hurt and damage anyone else for me this would be the happiest thing I've asked for in a long while."
Lucas put his hand on Alby's head and smile from ear to ear with joy hearing that Alby promises to always control and be mindful yet respect the ways of mana.
"Son, me and your mother love you dearly"
