Matilda's P.O.V
The timing of the womb's resurrection and Violet's awakening was quite near. If I was right and Violet would be the next queen, the womb will react in some sort of manner. I don't know why I brought her here tonight but something just tells me that I needed to for her own good. Violet may seem strong and smart for her age but in terms of power against some of the other queen candidates, especially Sophia, she'll surely die in the final stage where they compete to the death.
Violet examined and slowly walked around the womb, reading all of the ancient text slowly carved every year by our forefather inside ever since we created the metal casing to protect the womb more. It seems that the great mother's child was lying when he said that he'll be in slumber. It seems like he's just in hiding from all of us as punishment.
