Third Person P.O.V
The family settled into the new home quite fast. When they arrived, it was all furnished, greeted with maids and butlers who have faces hidden beneath black silks fastened by a band around their heads. Violet was a bit scared at first with the addition of people but quickly got used to the idea of them. Both of the twins have gotten nannies to take care of their needs.
The house was a three-story mansion occupying a 100-acre lot. Apparently, their old house was also located within the area, only hidden within the woods. There was a lot to explore that can now be accessed by the whole family. Different locations for training and function rooms are allocated in different areas surrounding the house. There was even both an indoor and outdoor pool that Violet squealed out loud upon seeing.
The house was fitted to accommodate all of the siblings, each having their own private quarters they can use or convert into whatever they want it to be, and of course, that includes their "hobbies" or collection.
Violet's quarters are in between her twin brother Michael and the eldest John.
This was the east wing where the indoor pool, library, and gym was stationed, the west wing was mostly vacant except for Jaime, Paine, and Tristan's rooms were. Below all of them was a dungeon-like basement for all of the equipment and items they brought from the previous' house basement. A separate building that connects the ground western hall is situated near the gardens and a training field. The separate structure is where all of the parties and banquets in the future will be held.
The garden had a pavilion built in the middle as instructed by Paine as a gift for the baby sister, who now won't let go of Paine's arm while they all relax inside the living area.
"Hiiiii.", Violet grimaced hugging Paine's arm tightly while Tristan tries to pull on the little girl.
"Violet get awaaaay. From. The stranger! Stranger danger remember!", Tristan complains pulling at the little girl's waist making her tighten her hold on the brother.
Paine stared in amusement at the two. John has just informed the family that Paine will now stay and have his own room in the house, still on probation but nonetheless free to roam around the home. He also introduced him to the twins which they took with enthusiasm. Mostly because Violet was curious, and Michael was excited that they have similar interests when it came to technology and experiments, which made Tristan voice out a complaint that the two may not be given any permission to conduct experiments inside and blow the house up.
It was chaotic, to say the least. It only settled down when Violet was pried off from Paine's arm by Jaime stepping in who now has the energetic child in his lap.
"We'll be hosting a tea party.", John stated while sipping his cup of coffee from the other end of the couch.
"Wait what?", almost all of the brothers questioned at the same time. "Why would we do that?", Tristan asked with his jaw to the floor. "It would be a bad decision not to, now that we've returned to this type of royal living.", John remarked pointing his cup to the whole room.
Tristan looked a bit hesitant, he knew that when the different races catch wind of the news, people will pester them again and maybe even do something worse.
If all races caught wind of Violet's awakening, they might hunt her down as well as a potential pair or pawn to get in the royal family.
Jamie looked at his little brother's weariness, they all knew what might happen again. What's even more worrisome was that this time, they now know what type of race Violet's other half is.
"Our matriarch will try to find her.", Paine whispered making Tristan's alabaster skin pale up.
"She is a-. Wait. That can't be.", he stuttered looking up to the eldest, eyes full of question and worry.
John can only nod, his mind elsewhere imagining the events that are about to go down. This move they made will cause a lot of trouble to come, especially now that they know Violet is part of the man-eater's clan. Their matriarch will try to take her away to be a part of the competition for the next blood heir. A clean-cut way for the kingdom of cannibals to have a princess of the empire a queen of their race.
The brothers could only hope for the best and keep her away from her own half-race. They all looked at each other and with a silent nod, knew to keep it a secret from the little girl.
Michael's P.O.V
A new brother! An inventor just like me! This will be fricking awesome!
I smiled wide hovering at our older brother as I bombarded him with questions. He answered all of them perfectly and even let me in on ways of how to stabilize some of my current makings.
Although I love that I can hang out with someone who has the same wavelength as I do. Big brother is still new to me. I had no idea where he was before and why we needed to move houses as soon as he came back. Big brother just mentioned that he went on a long journey and he returned so we can go back to being royalty?
The whole thing was hard to comprehend, but seeing us all together and Violet happy with the whole arrangement is enough for me. My twin is my top priority above all else.
After the first family meeting in our new home, we all went on our separate ways. My attendant by my side, I explored the training grounds. The place looked like an Amphitheatre, with a center field surrounded by rows of cement bleachers on its sides and two open rooms full of different kinds of weapons.
At the end of the hall was a set of weaponry plastered all over the wall. Each has its own separate case and a metal plate stating the owner. In front of it is a glass casing on top of a cement table with other smaller weapons that the owners also used.
It was all new to me and yet I felt familiar with everything inside the Armory room. Picking up a wooden sword from one of the racks, I walked outside to one of the dummies.
It was my first time ever holding a sword. I held it tight in my hands feeling the weight it had even if it is just a wooden sword. I have no idea how to wield the weapon but just took a random stance in front of the dummy.
Raising my arms up into the air, I made a heavy swing aiming for its shoulder but could only reach and hit up to its chest. It made a soft thud on impact and bounced back making me drop the sword.
I huffed and hit the dummy again, striking it on its chest, knowing that the sword would never make a cut but still made multiple hits on the practice dummy. Each attack gets stronger than before, making my hands ache and shiver after the Twentieth hit.
I fell down laying on the ground. A cloud of dust flew up while the sun hit me on the face. Closing my eyes, I felt peace and calm at the moment. Taken aback by the sudden interest in the physical activity. It was my first time to ever be outside sweating crazy like this.
It felt good.
I sat up and looked to my side where my attendant was standing with a towel in his hand that he wants me to take.
I took the white cloth and wiped my sweat, noticing small blood spots stain the towel where I held it. There were small blisters forming on my palms, one of them popping resulting in multiple stains.
John's P.O.V
From the distance, I could see my youngest brother lay down on the ground and bask in the afternoon sun. He looked peaceful, making me relax knowing that this whole move may become the change they would all need to fully heal.
The pain my brothers and sister have gone through is enough. We've tried every bit of change we could think of just to save Violet and Michael from the painful change that will happen on their twenty-first birthday.
Maybe it was what they needed. Maybe exposing Violet in our world can change her fate this time.
"Sir, the invitations are ready", the main butler informed me.
"Good. Send them all out.", the butler nodded, and before he could exit the room faced me bowing his head. "It is a great pleasure to serve the crown prince once more."
He exited the room leaving me inside with my own thoughts.
Third Person P.O.V
For the next few days, multiple invitations have been sent out to various handpicked families of high standing.
"My lady, a letter has arrived for you."
The elderly lady took a sip from her tea before taking the letter from the maid. Upon opening the sealed message, she dropped her cup and erupted into sobs.
"My lady!", her attendant rushed to the elder woman's side wiping the tea spilled on her dress and tending to her foot that was scalded from the hot tea.
"What's wrong my darling?", an older gentleman rushed from the outside in a state of panic, seeing his wife in a dreadful state.
"She's alive. Violet's alive!", Beryyle looked up to her husband, her cheeks stained with tears but now a wide smile was plastered on her lips.
