Third Person P.O.V
John and Violet could only stare at one another in pure silence. He knew that she heard all about what their father said about his feelings towards her. Running his hand through his hair, he stood up properly looking away from her. Ignoring the fact that she heard and him only standing there silently made Violet fidget on her spot.
No words were uttered, confused if it was because of the awkwardness that surrounded the room or the growing shame that ties the two down onto the ground. Frozen in time, never knowing when it would be right to utter the first words in regards to what to say at the moment. Violet bit her inner cheek and squinted her eyes at the floor. She was afraid of what the brother might do, now that he knows that she knew of his hidden feelings for her.
