Violet's P.O.V
I stood in front of them who looked at me with sad and shocked eyes. Father was at the end of the table, a worried look plastered on his face. It was my first time entering my father's office making me a bit frightened in the presence of men who could easily capture me once more and lock me farther away from my freedom.
"Come sit.", he called to me, pointing at the chair placed far away from all of them, at the other end of the table. Paine was about to stand up and run towards me from his seat but father quickly held him down with his powerful restraints. Witnessing his powers for the first time, I was bewildered at the way he controlled and how fluidly his body moved whilst using his chains. "Sit back down.", he commanded big brother Paine who whimpered as the chains wrapped around him glowed red.
