I said my goodbyes and went back into our mess of an estate. There was nothing else for me to do but keep her location as hidden as much as I could and intervene until it was time for her to come back by her eighteenth birthday. It was her one and only wish from me and I want to keep it this time. It's time for me to make my move as her big brother again.
Entering the house, I was greeted by a not-so-welcoming Paine. "Where the fuck had you been?", he asks staring deep into my eyes assessing my every movement like I was some sort of prey he had cornered. I only just looked at him and shrugged. "I was doing the same thing you all had been doing for the past weeks. Looking for Violet."
