After Perros came back to surface with the help of Esco. They all followed Naz to their final destination, Mori village.
"So, Esco... how long have you lived down there?" Bruno asked.
"Heh, even I don't know that much..." Esco laughed.
"But Owl, our leader, is about 250 years old." He added, following Nazo.
"And is your kind named somehow?" Nazo asked.
"Yeah... No." Esco said plainly.
"And enough with the questions. I'm not a book..." He added seriously.
Bruno looked nervously at Perros, but he laughed at him.
"Don't worry Esco, we're just curious." Cyra smiled.
"Leave the sweet talk for later..." Esco silenced her.
Cyra looked angry and didn't speak the whole way.
"Come on. Be good to each other." Perros said.
"You'll come with us later... Esco, you need to get along with the others." Perros laughed and patted him on the back.
"I didn't agree to anything like that." Esco said, removing Perros' hand from his back.
"And why aren't you wearing a shirt? The others have them..." He added.
"Because it's so hot here..." Perros replied.
"Don't you know about the bugs that live in this forest?" Esco asked and looked around.
"Bugs?" Perros asked questioningly.
"Mosquitoes? And other small vermin..." Esco explained.
"Really? I haven't seen any..." Perros said, but was interrupted by a buzzing sound.
Perros stopped. A mosquito flew slowly around him. Perros tried to follow him with his eyes. He sat on Perros and went to take a bite.
"NO!" Perros shouted and smacked the mosquito.
"Okay... I'll be right back." He added and ran back.
After a while he caught up to the others, but now in his shirt.
"Well, this is better." Perros smiled and continued with the others.
"Hey, Naz, how long before we get to that village of yours?" Esco asked.
"I'm Nazo, not Naz, and we should be there in a few hours..." Nazo replied annoyed.
"Few hours!?" Esco was surprised.
They all walked for a bit and after a while Esco started talking again.
"I'm not used to walking so much..." Esco said exhaustedly.
"Perros... take me... on your back." He added wearily and looked at Perros.
"I will, only if you join us." Perros smiled at him.
"Argh..." Esco sounded.
"Look, a mosquito!" He added, and while Perros looked around, he jumped on his back.
"Sigh..." Perros sounded.
Esco laughed and spurred Perros.
"Come on!" Esco smiled.
Perros rolled his eyes and continued.
Meanwhile, Marco and two other animal companions stayed behind. After some time, two people came out of the jungle. They looked normal, but there was one huge man. He was as tall as two normal people. Marco didn't notice because he was sleeping on the boat, but Delgado and Dumpster, who were pasturing nearby, did.
"I wonder what's on this boat." Person #1 laughed evilly.
"It must be something good if they sent US here." The taller person said and looked at the ship.
"We're getting closer, so be quiet. There's a chance someone else will still be around." Person #1 said softly.
"Alright, Quartz!" The taller person said loudly.
"SHHHHHH!" Quartz sounded.
"And don't say my name in a hostile area, Atlas." He added quietly.
"Why can YOU and I can't!?" Atlas said softly, but angrily.
"Ehm... Let's go."
Quartz said and slowly moved on.
"Hey!" Atlas shouted softly and followed Quartz.
They hid behind a bush, but Atlas' head was still visible. Quartz indicated that he would go first and Atlas would stay behind. Quartz moved from the bush. He moved quickly to the next bush and the next bush until he was close enough to the boat.
"This is going to be an easy steal." Quartz thought to himself and smiled wickedly.
The dumpster rushed towards him and started making loud noises.
"Tsk..." Quartz sounded annoyed.
"Atlas take care of him! Forget others, it's now or never." He added and rushed to the boat.
Dumpster' noises woke Marco up.
He slowly got up and looked around.
"What's that noise?" Marco said and stretched.
When he looked at Dumpster, he saw the two people. They stared at each other for a while.
"What do you want?" Marco asked.
"Nothing?" Quartz replied.
"What are you saying, Quartz? We want to rob him." Atlas said plainly.
Quartz facepalmed.
"Yeah...." Quartz said and immediately jumped on the ship.
"I won't let you take anything." Marco said it with confidence.
"I wouldn't be so sure, Quartz." Marco said and was prepared to fight.
"Atlas, are you done with that pig yet?" Quartz asked.
"Yeah, he'll make a good dinner." Atlas laughed.
"Come take care of this one then." Quartz said and pushed Marco to the edge of the ship.
Atlas stepped closer, grabbed him and threw him away.
Before Marco lost consciousness, he heard.
"We'll take their supplies and even enslave him." Quartz said and they both burst out laughing.
Back to Perros and the others. They were really close to the village.
"Naz, how long now?" Esco asked boredly.
"Sigh... Not even an hour." Nazo replied.
"Maybe since it's so close, you could go on your own." Perros suggested subtly.
"I asked how far it was. Not if I should walk." Esco mocked.
It wasn't long before they appeared on the outskirts of the village. As they walked through the village, the local villagers looked at them, well mainly on Esco. Perros and his group headed to Nazo and Cyra's house.
"We're here." Nazo stopped.
"Finally." Perros smiled.
"Go ahead and knock then." Bruno suggested.
Nazo looked at them, then back at the door and knocked. Cyra came to stand beside him. Before he could knock, the door slowly opened. An older woman stood behind them.
"It's me, Mom. I brought her..." Nazo didn't finish his sentence and was slapped by his mother.
"What took you so long..." She said with tears in her eyes and hugged them both.
"Mom... I'm so glad to see you again." Cyra burst into tears.
After the heartfelt welcome, Nazo's mother gathered everyone in the village to celebrate Nazo and Cyra's return.
As they gathered, Nazo introduced his other partners.
"The man with the white hat is our captain... Perros." Nazo said.
"Hello." Perros smiled.
"The blond guy is Bruno... the cook." Nazo continued.
"Hello..." Bruno greeted, but he was already admiring the local food of the village.
"And this little fella is Esco..." Nazo pointed to Perros' back.
"Yo..." Esco waved.
An elderly person came from the crowd.
"Y-You racoon c-creature." An elder person said.
"A-Are you from M-Midling?" She added.
Esco looked at her. He seemed to be thinking.
"Yeah." Esco replied.
"WHAT!" Everyone who came with Esco was surprised.
"But you said your kind has no name anyway." Bruno said uncomprehendingly.
"I guess I didn't understand the question correctly." Esco laughed nervously.
The elderly person came closer to him and patted him on head.
"I-It's been a long t-time since I saw a Midling..." The elderly smiled.
"Have you ever seen one before?" Nazo asked.
"Of course... I'm a quiet old one myself, you know. I've seen a lot of things..." The old man said.
"Yeah, we can see that..." Esco began to laugh subtly.
After a few minutes of conversation, Perros asked the main question.
"So Esco told me that some gang drove them underground." Perros said.
"Do you know which one he meant?" He added.
"I'll tell you." Nazo's mother smiled.
"I'm sure he meant the Twin Gang." She added.
"Twin gang?" Perros asked questioningly.
"Well, their leader, or rather leaders, are twins..." Nazo's mother explained.
"And they're strong?" Perros asked in amazement.
"We don't know. No one wants to be their enemy. They have a lot of members." She added.
"All right!" Perros said and turned to his group.
"Let me guess..." Nazo said.
"Let's beat them." He added in Perros' voice.
"I'm glad you know me so well..." Perros laughed.
But before they went looking for the Twin gang's base. They had to celebrate the return of Nazo and Cyrus. They celebrated until the next day.
