The squeal of the black-horned boar resonated as it slowly fell to the ground while its body was covered in Ice spikes and fire.
Clint moved closer and cut its 2 horns using his swords. "These are the 6th ones, we still need 14 pieces to complete the quest."
"If we continue with this pace, the quest will be completed before sunset," Gwen announced as she sat at the root of the tree.
Amiya moved forward and pointed the direction in front of her. "Should we go there next?"
Clint looked in the direction Amiya pointing on and shook his head. "I cannot recommend. That mountain up ahead is home to a pack of Class B monsters. Although they are dangerous, they will never attack us as long as we do not enter their territory, so let us keep our distance from them."
Gwen stood up and walked while holding her staff using her two hands. "Let us go in this direction this time."
However, the moment they started to walk, the unnerving sounds of the roar coming from the direction of the mountain up ahead echoed around the forest. The birds flew as the result of the great turmoil the roars created.
Clint immediately walked in the opposite direction but his face was remained calm. "We should go now, that was not a very good sound to hear."
Both Gwen and Amiya nodded and hurried. Yet, the rushing footsteps of the monsters were directly coming for them, and thanks to the monsters' outstanding mobility, they easily got caught up with the 3.
Five 2 meters tall gray wolves with a huge single horn on their forehead emerged from the wilderness, their dreadful growls was could be heard as their terrifying red eyes dwelled at the 3. The great fury was visible in their eyes.
Running was futile because the enemies could easily catch up on them just like what happened just a moment ago.
With skepticism in his eyes, Clint raised his sword and shield. "It is a pack of Class B monsters called Greater Unicorn Wolves! This area is still very far from their territory, they should not be in here!"
Gwen raised her staff. "What should we do, Clint?"
"Each one of them at least has an overall level of 40, there are a lot of adventurers nearby, we just need to hang on until they have arrived." Clint's body lit up as he received a buff coming from Amiya.
The wolves began to scatter indicating that they were about to attack.
"It would be a very optimistic situation if I am not seeing five of them at once," Amiya commented while casting her buff skills.
One of the wolves jump in and extended its mouth and sharp fangs towards Clint, but before it could reach him, the Greater unicorn wolf flew away due to the fireball hurled towards it with just enough strength to throw it away.
Clint's widening eyes instantly shifted to Gwen.
Gwen shook her head. "It was not from me."
After squealing for a few seconds, the Greater unicorn wolf stood up and just managed to slowly walk due to the damage it took that greatly injured its front feet.
The eyes of the Greater unicorn wolves instantly shifted towards the person walking in front of them. He stopped at the middle and faced the wolves.
Wearing the same uniform they have, indicating that he was one of the members of the guild. His white hair swayed as the gentle wind blew it.
"Are you alright?" His cold voice resonated as he spoke.
"Ah! The guy with the cute hair earlier!"
Clint's eyebrows instantly furrowed and face him. "We are currently under a bothersome problem here. I am glad a reinforcement arrived much sooner. Would you mind lending us a hand until the others come?"
He nodded. "I don't mind."
In the blink of an eye, the 5 Greater unicorn wolves were contained inside a massive fire tornado and were instantly incinerated to ashes. The brief moment of unsettling squealing of the Greater unicorn wolves was more than enough to put the 3 in great awe.
Their eyes were widening as they watched the one-sided slaughter.

Without any traces left. The Greater unicorn wolves were burned to ashes. Roshan looked at the 3 still looking at the nothingness left in their former enemy.
"It's done." Roshan proceeded to walk away.
"Wait." Gwen's voice called for him.
Roshan stopped but he did not face them. "What?"
"You have my gratitude for helping us. How can I repay for your assistance?"
"You don't have to, I just happened to be nearby." He proceeded to walk away.
Certain sound footsteps rushing towards their location put a subtle smile on Roshan's face.
Levy emerged from the forest holding her massive sword, her eyes instantly widened upon seeing him.
"Roshy? What are you doing here?"
"I heard the commotion and rushed here to check it out."
The 3 walked towards them.
"Oh, it is Levy." Amiya waved her hand to her.
"Hello, Amiya." Levy's gaze repeatedly switched between the 4. "You all are here? I've heard the roars, where are the enemies?"
Gwen pointed her hand towards Roshan. "He helped us." Her eyes shifted to Roshan. "I believe your name is... Roshy?"
Roshan faced her. "I would appreciate it if you don't call me that."
Gwen's eyes instantly shifted to Levy, while Levy just laughed and scratched her head.
Gwen nodded. "I see. My name is Gwendolyn Amarantha, but feel free to call me Gwen." She pointed her hands to Clint. "This is Clinton Freacher."
"Clint," Clint said while nodding to Roshan.
"And I am Amiya Errapel." Amiya waved her staff.
"May I know the name of the person who assisted us?"
Roshan's lips slowly rose as he released a sigh. "I'm Roshan Lightborne."
Amiya's Veridian green eyes instantly indicated recognition. "Roshan? Like Roshan of The savior of Celadona?"
Roshan paused for a second. "I'm not familiar with it."
Gwen weakly chucked. "Don't mind it. It is just, Roshan is the name of the main character of my favorite book titled, The Savior of Celadona, and Amiya is also a fan of said book."
"I see."
Gwen smiled. "As I can see, you 2 are doing your quest here. How about we accompanied each other for a while?"
The 4 of them proceeded to walk.
"What is your quest, Levy?" Gwen asked.
"Unicorn wolves' horn, and eyes of wolf trapper on him."
"I see let us do the unicorn wolves first."
"Eh? Are you sure?"
"We don't mind," Clint answered.
Leaving Roshan behind just watching them walk. "Well, that was easier than I thought."
