As the bright white moon shone at the capital of Ashendar kingdom, the light of the establishments once again lit up the place.
Inside the guildhall. Roshan, Levy, and Derus stepped inside the loud hall and were greeted by the adventurers currently drinking and eating at the wooden table's area of the building.
"Wow, they all came back from the dead," Roshan commented as he gazed at them.
"Let's join them, my lad."
Roshan shook his head. "I'm not going to drink."
Derus chuckled. "Then don't, just eat some delicious food from the cafeteria and join us."
Roshan walked towards the line of the adventurers and bought some food and wandered around while looking for an empty table.
"White bunny!"
His gaze instantly shifted towards the adventurer who called him. A black-haired adventurer wearing the same dark blue robe he was wearing and brown leather pants, beside him was a black greatsword almost the same size as him.
He tilted his head. "Who are you?"
The adventurer waved his hand and smiled. "Here! Sit here."
He exhaled before slowly walking towards the table of the adventurer alone in his wooden table with his food in front of him.
Roshan put his tray and sat.
"I heard a lot about you. I wish I'm in that mission."
Roshan took a bite of the chicken legs he was holding. "Not a big deal, by the way, do I know you?"
The adventurer cleared his throat. "Ah, I forgot, my name is Damien, I'm a class C adventurer, and just like you, I'm one of the adventurers Levy brought here."
Roshan's gaze instantly shifted to Levy currently in the line at the cafeteria. His gaze shifted back to Damien. "I feel sorry for you."
Damien swung his hand and smiled while shaking his head. "Levy did help us a lot. If weren't for her, I don't know what's gonna happen to me, fortunately, she guided me here to become an adventurer."
Roshan nodded. "Yeah, quite fortunate indeed."
Damien leaned towards him to whisper something. "But, I'm a little bit jealous of you."
"Wha- why?"
"From what I heard, she accompanied you on your first quests, as much as spent the day with you to harvest some vegetables."
His gaze darted to Levy from afar. "She did not do it to you?"
"You are the only one, all of us were just brought in here and guided to the cheap inn, then she just let us do our things. But, she attended you as if she already knew that you are something."
Roshan did a long pause and slowly nodded. "I see."
"All of us at least once tried to ask her to do a quest with us but none manages to succeed, she preferred to be alone and will only join a joint mission if either Derus or Kito is attending. How fortunate you are, White bunny."
"At least tone down your voice, Damien, when you're talking about me." Levy put her tray on the table.
Damien widely smiled upon seeing her. "Hi, Levy. Don't worry, we're just talking about how lucky White bunny is."
Levy loudly chuckled. "He's always like that, Roshy, just like you, he's from a village located inside Fiora."
Roshan nodded and did not answer.
Everyone's attention shifted when 7 people stepped inside the guildhall.
"The guild is lively as always." Kito waved his hand as he walked towards them, following him were his 6 class A party members.
"My lad, Kito! Come on in and drink!"
Kito shook his head. "I'm just here for an announcement, so hear me out for a second."
All the attention switched on him.
"My class S promotion ceremony will take place 3 days from now, and as the tradition of every class S, I'm going to fight the latest proclaimed class S, which is Liam. I'm expecting you to come and support me."
The loud roar of the adventurers resonated inside the guildhall.
"Of course we will, but we will also cheer for my lad Liam, but the loudest will be for you, my lad." Derus raised his wooden cup. "Wipe the floor of the arena using his handsome face, my lad!"
"Yeah!" The adventurers shouted at once.
Kito repeatedly nodded while smiling as he turned his gaze towards the table of Roshan and the 2. "I'm expecting you to come, Roshan."
Roshan nodded. "I guess I'll come."
Kito's smile widened. "Good. You too Levy, I need you to cheer for me."
With her currently reddening face, Levy smiled. "Of course, I'll go... I wanna see you fighting in the arena."
"Levy, my lass, your is face turning red, did you eat something unpleasant?"
Levy instantly looked down and hid her face. The loud laughter enveloped the guildhall.
"That's my lass!"
"Way to go, Red fox!"
"Little more, Levy, maybe you could change his mind!"
"You should stop teasing her," Kito said while he himself was chuckling.

As the night fell deeper, at the kingdom of Ashendar. Inside a certain all-girls inn at the marketplace.
"Good evening, this is my payment for the night." Levy handed down the coins to the shiny red clerk's desk. "Good night."
The old woman sitting at the compartment smiled at her. "Good night, Levy."
Levy waved her hand and smiled at her while walking at the staircase.
"Oh, hi Levy, how's your day?" The voice was coming from the staircase.
"Good as always."
After Levy disappeared, the old woman checked the coins and immediately stood up. "She forgot her change again, that clumsy child."
On the other hand, Levy opened the door to her room, opened the light, and skipped to her red bed.
She sat on her bed and stretched her arms. "What a tiring day."
However, Suddenly, her eyes began to turn weak, and her body slowly shook.
She yawned. "I feel... sleepy."
Her body fell to her bed and remained unmoved for a few seconds.
Afterward, she slowly sat up and walked towards the mirror located at the corner next to her bed.
Upon seeing her face on the reflection, an awfully deranged smile emerged on her face. She slowly raised her hand and touched her left cheek.
Using an elegant but the same time cold and menacing tone, she spoke. "What a satisfying day, is not it?"
A sudden knock on the door made her stop admiring her face in the mirror. With visible annoyance in her eyes, she violently exhaled and strode towards the door.
She opened her door and faced the old woman standing in front of it. "Oh, is there a problem, Grandma?" Using her usual voice and a big smile on her face.
The old woman raised her hand. "Levy, you forgetful child, you forgot your change again."
She chuckled and scratched the back of her head. "Ah, my bad. Pardon me for making you go up here again just to give it to me."
The old woman shook her head and smiled. "No problem. here."
She took the coin and slowly closed the door. "Thank you very much."
Upon closing the door, she leaned her back in front of it and gazed at the window at the other side of the room. "Nuisance."
