Afternoon at the capital of the kingdom of Ashendar. At the guildhall.
The remaining adventurers inside were currently occupied by eating and drinking some booze as 3 certain people stepped inside.
Gwen was looking down while walking towards the desk clerk, following her were Amiya and Clint. Unlike Gwen, they were keeping their faces up, but the severe exhaustion and sorrow were visible on their faces.
And by just seeing it, the other adventurers immediately deduced the situation. Even Mayumi at the desk stood up with great concern on her face.
Gwen stood in front of her. "Is guild master Rudwick in his office?" Gwen's voice was completely different from the usual, it was full of pain as she spoke.
Mayumi's mouth remained open for a few seconds before answering her. "Yes, sir Rudwick is currently in the office. Just go upstairs."
One of the adventurers could not resist his urge and walked towards them. "Oy, your Highness."
Gwen looked at him using her bloodshot and darkening eyes, but she did not say a word.
The enlarged adventurer's eyes repeatedly shifted between the 3 of them. "Where is Randall?"

Inside the palace of Ashendar, at the office of the consultant of the king, Heilmer Aldenbraun.
Heilmer stopped reading the report paper and looked up to the person standing in front of him. "All of them?"
"All four of them including all of the class S monsters inside the cave system." The soft voice of the hero Aloisa resounded throughout the room as she spoke. "We have found the corpses of the two Fenrirs together at the 3rd floor. The Catastrophe boa near the entrance and lastly the Gaia centipede queen floating in a lake outside the Fairy dungeon."
Heilmer rubbed his own forehead as he exhaled. "What about the Fairy?"
Aloisa slowly shook her head. "We searched around the place but we could not find it. Maybe it went on another slumber after eliminating the other 4 mythical classes."
Heilmer nodded but the great disappointment was completely visible on his face. "It cannot be helped then. What important are you came back safe along with Gwendolyn and Clinton."
Aloisa's eyebrows instantly furrowed. "Amiya and Randall are also part of their adventurer party, but Randall went missing and we could not find him. We tried to search in every floor but there was not a single trace of him."
Helmer shrugged indifferently about the last topic. "Do you have anything else interesting, Aloisa?"
Aloisa slowly exhaled. "Nothing else."
Heilmer gave him a gentle smile. "You did well, now take your rest, I know you are tired."
Aloisa nodded. "I see, I will take my leave then."
Aloisa turned her back on her and walked towards the door.
"As an aside, Aloisa."
Aloisa stopped.
"I know I'm the one who called you but knowing that you hate taking orders from me, I'm still surprised that you showed up. I recalled, my late wife always telling you the story about the Fairy, you are very enthusiastic about it back then. Is it still the same up until now?"
Aloisa walked out of the door leaving Heilmer behind while massaging his forehead using his hand.
Aloisa silently walked through the corridor straight to her room, upon entering, she immediately locked the door and stared at her darkroom that was left alone for a long time, when confirmed that there was no one around. She pulled something out from her breastplate and gazed at it.
A white pearl-like orb as the size of her fist, an empty husk with nothing inside, the only thing that left of what was the owner's former form was. There was no sign of life or even mana inside.
However, Aloisa was looking at it with bewildering emotion in her eyes.
"Where are you?"

The night arrived at the great forest of Fiora. The fire of the campfires was being highlighted through the dark wilderness.
All the carriages parked at the edge of the road, inside them were the vital parts of the Wyvern's corpses like eyes, fangs, and tip of the wings that they would need as proof of their kills.
The sound of songs and guitars were resonating along with loud laughs and shouts of the adventurers celebrating their victory.
Kito was strumming the string guitar while Derus was singing while smashing the tambourine in his hand.
At the edge of the forest, at one of the tall trees, two people were sitting at the branches, separating them was the trunk of the huge tree.
Roshan was looking up while watching the starry night sky while not minding Levy on the other side of the tree.
"So that's it. Maybe that's why I can't join another party because I'm too obsessed to join his. Without considering that it's impossible, we're living in a completely different world. He is not seeing me the way I'm seeing him. Truth hurts isn't it?"
"Sure."
Levy released a sigh of relief. "It's feel good that it's finally out of my chest now." Levy peeked her head at Roshan. "It's a good thing you're here to save the day, Roshy."
"I don't mind."
Levy leaned her face to the trunk of the tree and swung her feet. "But, I'm not gonna lie, after seeing your magic earlier, I felt very terrified. The first thing that came to my mind was, what if this guy is our enemy? Would we be able to win? What if he decided one day to turn against us?" Levy chuckled. "I know, what a weird imagination, right? Then I realized, you are a kind person because if you're not, you've already thrown me to the sky out of annoyance."
"Don't worry, once I've decided to turn against all of humanity, you are one of the very first people who will know."
Levy furrowed her eyebrows. "Wow, thank you very much, that's terrifying."
Half of Roshan's face rose. "It's a joke."
"Should I laugh now?"
Roshan did not answer and paused for a few seconds. "I'm amazed, even after what happened earlier, you're not bombarding me with your stupid questions about it."
Levy shook her head. "You don't like a nosy fox, right? So I won't dig about it."
Roshan looked at her location. "I see."
