Chapter 64 - Chapter 63: Black And White

Roshan came out from the guild master's office, what he found outside was the people gathering near the desk clerk. Derus was currently talking to someone with the adventurers encircling them.

As Roshan walked downstairs while holding the robe in his hand and the pouch in the other hand, Derus gave way to the person.

The moment that person saw Roshan, his lips instantly rose and walked towards him. His jet-black sharp eyes dwelled at Roshan as he brushed his neck-length black hair upward. Wearing the same dark blue adventurers robe the others wearing.

[Human level 83.]

"So, you are that guy." He said as he reached enough distance. "I was on my way last night to defeat the Greater wyvern, but to my surprise, it's already dead when I arrived." He walked nearer.

"Too bad you didn't make it earlier."

The young man smiled with great enthusiasm visible in his eyes. "Yeah, too bad I have not seen how you defeated it. From what I heard, you just sliced it off using no weapon at all. I'm more intrigued by how did you do it."

"I did nothing special."

"Yeah, right? Nothing special. I want to see it too. The thing you're calling as nothing special." His enthusiastic smile immediately turned into a heavy gaze with a grin. "White bunny."

Roshan paused for a moment and sighed. "Yup, that nickname is a thing now. Do all the people in this guild love calling people weird names?"

The man unleashed a loud chuckle. "You'll get used to it, if you allow me to give you a piece of advice, don't stress yourself out about that nickname thing, even I was given a stupid nickname because they feel like it. Especially Levy and Derus. They are the secret leaders of this guild, even though I'm an older member of this guild than the both of them."

"I see."

"And by the way, my name is Kito Brangwen."

Derus put his hand on Kito's shoulder with a big smile on his face. "People calling him Chilled knight, Kito. The strongest Class A adventurer of this guild."

Kito chuckled. "You're flattering me, Black boar, Derus. However, I am no knight, for whatever reason they suddenly called me that." Kito crossed his arms. "I heard you are pretty close with Levy."

"I won't call it that."

Derus chugged the cup of booze he was holding. "My lass, Levy, really brought a remarkable individual in this guild. Not even a week and my lad Roshan already destroyed a flying dimwit on his own."

"Now that you mention it, where is Levy? I couldn't find her. I saw her earlier but she suddenly disappeared."

"You should know it by now, Levy will always sneak away like a thief every time you are in here. She's avoiding you like the plague."

Kito chuckled. "Yeah, I get it. Can't blame her tho."

"I have to go." Roshan walked past them.

Kito gave him the way and walked sideways. "Sure."

"See you around... Roshan." The enthusiastic smile and gaze on Kito's face were returned as he watched him walk away.

"You didn't come here to just check on my lad, right?" Derus asked.

"Of course not, guild master Rudwick called me here for an important matter."

"What is it then?"

Kito shrugged. "Who knows."

Roshan came out from the guildhall and found Levy sitting on the side of the road, her gaze instantly shifted on him, and stood up.

"What are you doing here?"

Levy shook her head. "Nothing, getting some fresh air."

"I see." Roshan passed through her towards the direction of the marketplace.

"That adventurer robe is good when paired with good bottoms. Do you want me to accompany you to buy some?"

"You're not going to do a quest?"

"I can do it, maybe... later." Levy walked past him and lead the way. "I'm tired due to what happened last night so maybe I should take a break."

Roshan paused for a few seconds and nodded. "I'm surprised you are not mad at me."

Levy looked back on him raising one of her eyebrows. "Mad? Why though?"

"I don't know, maybe because I said such harsh things last night."

"Harsh? I don't remember."

Roshan nodded. "I see. Nevermind."

A huge grin rose on Levy's face. "You felt guilty, Roshy?"

"No, I mean what I said, like I said I'm just surprised, normally, a normal person will keep their distance after that."

Levy increased her walking speed as she turned her gaze in front of her. "Does that mean I'm unique?"

"It means you are weird."

Inside the office of guild master Rudwick.

Rudwick leaned back to his desk while holding a brown paper with a written request in it. In front of him was Kito directing his focus on him, while on their back, Emily was just silently listening to their conversation.

"Based on the report the scouts made, they have seen 30 Wyverns and 7 Greater Wyverns lurking around the Wyvern canyon. They are attacking the vicinity of the forest around them and continuously getting stronger as days passed. We need to deal with them as soon as possible before one of the Greater Wyverns managed to evolve. Letting a class S monster to emerge is the last thing we want to do."

"Are one of the Class S said something about it?"

"You know those 4, as long as the rewards are not acceptable for their service they will just go and shrug it off."

Kito narrowed his eyes. "So they won't move until the quest turned into a Class S. All they think about is money, once I got proclaimed as Class S, I'll force their asses to get to work."

"It's still a good thing you are here, Kito. You still accepted my request even though your Class S ceremony is gonna be held soon."

"It's my job as an adventurer."

Rudwick leaned towards the desk. "I know how dangerous this mission could be, so I'm giving you the right to choose the team you want to bring, just pick your squad in any of the class B adventurers and I will do what I can to make them join your mission, but knowing how much they trust you, it is not a hard task to do."

"I already have a certain person in mind. I hope you can permit me to do so."

Rudwick narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean?"

"You already know who I want to bring with me."

Rudwick put her hand on her chin at the same time, Emily cough on the back. "I don't know if I can convince him." A subtle smile appeared on his lips. "What are you planning to do, Kito?"

An enthusiastic grin emerged on Kito's face. "I just want to see it in my own eyes, that's all." Kito raised one of his arms. "And while we're at it. Let's bring the fox and the boar with him, they will be a good addition."

Rudwick nodded. "Let's see, it will be your job to convince him then."
