At the vegetable plantations of the small village of Dakel. Consists of less than a hundred houses located right at the center of the farmlands.
Both Roshan and Levy spent the day helping the citizens to harvest the goods. The sun slowly turned pale as the afternoon sun shone through the land.
Right under a huge tree between the village and the plantations, Levy was sitting on the grass as he stared at the huge farm.
Her eyes instantly shifted when someone sat next to her. "You surprised me, Roshy."
"How come? Isn't you have your boasted Mana sensory?"
"Using it all the time is painful for my head, I'm more surprised that you can use it all the time. I know that it won't cost much mana, but still, isn't your head not hurt?"
Roshan leaned both of his hands to the grass on his back. "Not really."
"You are quite unusual."
The villagers at the plantation waved their hands at them as they walked towards the village, Levy immediately waved back with a big smile on her face.
"You, tell me. Why you're going out of your way to help people? I'm talking about you picking up people and bringing them to adventurer's guild."
Levy put her hand down and shifted her gaze at Roshan while raising her eyebrows. "My name is Levy, not You. And I'm doing it for no particular reason. I just feel like it."
"Do you want me to believe that lie?"
Levy chuckled. "What's up with the sudden question?"
"I want to know the reason, it's easier to get rid of you once I've already known the reason why you're doing this stupid good Samaritan pastime of yours."
"It'll never hurt to say that you're just curious you know?"
Roshan did not reply, he turned his gaze on the plantation in front of them.
Levy exhaled. "To tell you the truth, I'm not from this kingdom. I'm from the kingdom of Azvameth, a kingdom far away from here. But not inside the capital, my hometown is a small town located at the boundary of the kingdom."
"That explains the red hair."
"Says the person who has white hair."
Roshan did not reply.
"When I first came here about a year ago, I did not expect finding a living in this kingdom was that hard, especially for an outsider like me. To the point that I was forced to live in the streets much more to beg from strangers just to survive, it's a hard and painful experience, that I've almost given up and decided to go back home."
Levy leaned her back to the grass as he gazed at the blue sky. "But, everything changed for the better when I've met guild master Rudwick, he just randomly picked me up and offered me a job I have no idea of, that's what you expect from a small-town girl who traveled across kingdoms for the first time, without any little idea of how this world works."
"Those memories still causing me pain when they're coming back in me. To ease that pain, I promised myself, that I will never let anyone experience the same thing that happened to me. In short, it's just a selfish act of mine for my own satisfaction."
For a few seconds, none of them talked and just felt the gentle wind blowing around them.
"So what you are planning to do is?"
"I want to help as many beginners in this kingdom as I can so they won't suffer the same hardship that I had. That's why."
"I see, then, do whatever you want, just don't drag me with you." Roshan stood up and faced her. "I don't need your help."
Levy stood up and stared at his face flashing a wide grin on her lips.
"What?"
Levy shrugged. "Of all the people I told that objective of mine, you're the only one who didn't laugh or said something like, my ideal is ridiculously stupid."
"It is ridiculously stupid though, however, all of us have our own stupid goals and dreams. It doesn't matter what it is, what is important is how you can achieve it and how much it meant to you."
"You, Roshy? What is your dream?"
"Nothing special." Roshan turned his back and walked towards the village. "Let's go home, I'm tired."
"Eh! You're so unfair, Roshy!"

At the entrance of the village of Dakel, Aamon was with them under the arc.
Roshan looked up at the orange sky while Levy was currently talking to Aamon.
"I greatly appreciated your help, miss Levy and mister Roshan. This is my written letter as proof that you completed your quest."
"Thank you very much, we need to go now, the night is about to come."
Levy and Roshan started to walk back to the forest and reached the road after a few minutes. The coachman in front of the carriage started the journey as they hopped into the wagon.
Levy stretched her arms as she leaned towards the wall of the wagon and gazed at the almost darkened road, both of them remained silent while watching on the journey.
However, even without getting far, a certain huge orange light at the sky instantly took their attention.
"Stop the carriage!" Levy shouted as she jumped out.
Her eyes enlarged the moment she saw the gigantic fire currently engulfing one of the parts of the forest. The place of fire was far from their location, but the silhouette of the burning village was completely visible.
"One of the villages is burning!" She covered her mouth using her hands as her eyes shivered while staring at the scenery.
Roshan stood beside her and looked up to the sky.
What took his attention was the silhouette of the gigantic flying behemoth currently flying over the burning village. Its loud and unnerving roar reached them as its mouth released a fireball and blasted it down to the village beneath it.
"Looks like we have an unexpected guest," Roshan said as he stared at it.
