"What now? the sun isn't even rising." Roshan said using a rough newly awakened voice as he opened the door of his room.
Levy smiled as she looked up at his face "Remember the thing you said yesterday? About not doing a flower picking quest?"
"Please don't tell me it's vegetable this time."
Both of Levy's eyebrows instantly rose as she leaned both of her hands on her waists. "At least it's no longer flowers. The pay is good so I took it too as my quest for today."
She flashed the request paper that she was holding.
Roshan nodded and slightly closed his door. "Wait for me downstairs."
"Aye!"

The morning sun shone upon the great forest of Fiora, where a particular carriage with a brown tarpaulin covering the wagon stopped right at the border of the wilderness and the dirt road.
The two people riding inside came out as they arrived at their destination after a few hours of the trip.
Levy took out a brown map. "We just need to pass through the forest and get to the village where the request is from. They are currently harvesting their vegetables and they need some help to do so."
"Yeah, I get it. Let's get it done so I can finally get a decent quest once I reached class C and finally do some proper adventuring." Roshan went inside the forest.
"It will take you at least a month to get to class D though."
"Please don't ever mention it."
The wilderness they were in was shrouded in silence, some forest wolves and wild boars were could be heard from the distance, however, none of the monsters nearby tried to approach them.
In every step they made, the crunching of the dry leaves was completely audible.
And after a few minutes of not talking with each other on their journey, Levy's eyes shifted on Roshan beside her while she was still raising her map leveling her face.
"Say, Roshy. Is your village near here? They are a lot of villages around this area, maybe your village is one of them."
"It's way too far from here."
Levy put down the map and stared at him. "Oh really? What's the name of your village?"
Roshan tilted his head sideways as they passed through the short trees with hanging branches. "I'm from the village of Amaryllis."
While on the other hand, Levy just passed through them without the need to adjust.
"Amaryllis? Sounds familiar but I don't know where it is."
"You don't have to."
"Do you have siblings? What is the color of their hair? Do all the people in your village have the same hair color as you?"
"You are asking too many questions that I'm not comfortable answering. I thought you are an adventurer and not an investigator."
"Don't take it as a big deal, Meanie. I'm just trying to strike a conversation, walking inside the forest feels so slow especially when you are with a person who doesn't even want to talk."
For a few seconds, Roshan remained silent before speaking again. "I don't have an interesting life. I chose this life because I thought, it would be better than before."
"That's why you came to the capital? You want to find yourself?"
"More like I want to prove something."
Levy smiled. "Prove? For who?"
Roshan's face turned to Levy as half of his lips rose. "For myself. Who else?"
"Eh, the typical rebellious black sheep. What do you want to prove then?"
"Don't worry, you have nothing to do with it. You know what? I just realized. You should be called as Nosy fox rather than Red fox. It fits you more."
"And you should be called as Mister 'my hair is white so I should be as cold as ice' it fits you too." She said using an intentionally infuriating rough voice.
Roshan did not respond and just turned his attention to what was ahead.
"We're here," Roshan announced as the silhouette of the nearby village emerged as they walked towards it.
The name of the village was could be seen at the stone arc right at the entrance.
"The village of Dakel," Levy announced as they walked past through the arc.
The villagers gathered at the entrance to meet them. Most of them especially the adults were wearing brown tunics and pants.
An old man came out from the crowd and approached them, a small-built man with a dark complexion, his black eyes instantly went on to the two and bowed his head. "You must be the adventurers who accepted my request. I'm Aamon, the head of the village. I'm glad you came as our aide for today's harvest."
Levy smiled at him. "It's our pleasure, I'm levy." She shifted her gaze to Roshan.
Upon seeing it. "And I'm Roshan, nice to meet you."
"Please come with me." Aamon walked ahead inside the village and the two followed him. "We're expecting more adventurers to come, but it seems like there are only two of you."
"They are planning to go tomorrow, it just happened that the 2 of us decided to go first."
"I'm delighted that you do." Aamon guided them towards the huge vegetable plantations.
Around 6 hectares of vegetable farms, from the distance, some citizens of the farm already started the harvest and picking the vegetables.
Squash, tomatoes, potatoes, and carrots were could be seen being carried by the harvesters walking from the distance.
"All you need to do is to pick the vegetables, all of them are ready to harvest so feel free to choose which spot you want to work on. We are not expecting you to finish the harvesting in one day, so don't pressure yourselves, regardless, the quest will be marked as completed at the end of the day."
Levy nodded. "I see, we'll do our best."
Aamon walked away and left the two of them staring at the huge vegetable plantation.
Roshan exhaled. "Yup, this is my life now, I'm a farmer."
