"Are you done, Roshy?" Levy walked towards them upon entering the guildhall. She was holding a small pouch in her hand.
Roshan turned his head on her and nodded. "Yes."
The desk clerk smiled at Levy. "Hi, Levy."
Levy passed through Roshan and leaned at the desk. "Hi, Mayumi. These are the materials for my quest. 10 forest wolves fangs, right?." Levy handed over the pouch she was holding.
Immediately, Mayumi handed the payment to her. "100 Sierra each. Here's your reward, 1000 Sierra."
"I've got 14 pieces, too bad the quest only needs 10 pieces. Good thing I sold the other parts at a high price- where are you going, Roshy?"
Roshan stopped walking, he was heading towards the entrance. "Somewhere. Anywhere."
"I'll guide you through the places in here."
"You don't have to, I can manage myself."
"Mayumi, what role did Roshy apply for?"
"Do you mean Roshan? He registered as a mage."
Levy smiled at Roshan standing in the distance. "Wow, you're a mage? I'm excited to see what kind of magic you can do."
Roshan shrugged. "Not much."
"Oy, Red fox!" One of the adventurers on one of the tables yelled. The skinhead muscular man holding a cup of booze in his hand.
Levy immediately responded and waved her hand. "Oy, Derus!"
As Levy walked towards Derus, Roshan stood in front of the desk clerk.
"Do you know about the big news?"
Levy furrowed her forehead. "What news?"
"You a don't know? You are slow for a fox! There are sightings of a Wyvern lurking around the Fiora, causing chaos in some villages in the vicinity. The reward is quite handsome, want to join us?"
"Isn't Wyverns are class B monsters? I'm just a Class C, you know?."
"Then take your promotion, Stupid, before Guild master Rudwick changes his mind."
Levy released a forced chuckle. "It requires me to join a party to do so."
"Why not join in one? You are more than welcome to join in any party."
Levy scratched the back of her head. "I'm still struggling to find a good party I want to join in."
Derus chuckled loudly. "You, midget brat, are you saying all the class B party that recruiting you is not good enough? Get outa here!" He chugged the cup of booze he was holding.
While the other adventurer beside him chuckled as they eavesdropped in their conversation.
Levy raised her hand displaying a peace sign in it. "Don't worry, Derus, I'll think about it."
What came next was the loud laughter of the adventurers on the table.
"I'm surprised, you know each other."
Roshan turned to Mayumi. "More like we have stumbled on each other and she just randomly picked me up."
Mayumi weakly chuckled as she covered her mouth. "She did it again."
"I knew it was not the very first time she did it."
"I hope you can get along with Levy, most of the time she tends to act forceful and selfish, but she's a very kind person," Mayumi said while looking at Levy from the distance.
"I've already knew about it since the moment we've met. She really is forceful and insensitive."
"It's just, she has this habit of helping the beginners she stumbled on by bringing them here and giving them a good start in the capital."
"Do you mean bad habit?"
Mayumi smiled. "I can't say. Don't worry, she will leave you alone once she concluded that you can make it on your own."
"I can make it on my own."
"Roshy, let's go. I'll lead the way where you can find cheap lodging." Levy walked towards the entrance of the guildhall.
Roshan watched her as she walked outside. "Nonetheless, I'll admit, she's quite helpful." He walked towards the entrance to follow her.
"Good luck, Roshan."

The sun slowly went down as the night took over. The light of the capital of the kingdom kindled and live up the evening.
At the marketplace where countless shops were scattered throughout the place, various goods were being sold for the waves of customers passing through every stall.
Levy passed through the crowds, following her was Roshan, after a few minutes of walking, they arrived at one of the inns located at the core of the marketplace.
A yellow 3 stories establishment with walls made of stones, some cracks at the wall were visible, but the building was still standing still and contending against the newer buildings beside it.
Levy pointed her hand towards the inn. "Here, the room here will only cost 500 Sierra per night. Not a bad price for a newcomer, right?"
"Are you staying here?"
"I used to, I'm currently staying at the inn a few blocks ahead, and boys are not allowed in there."
Roshan nodded. "I appreciate your help, I can carry on my own now." He went inside the inn and left Levy behind.

Roshan went inside the room the receptionist gave him. Roshan took a deep breath as he removed his mask and put it on top of the brown wooden sideboard right next to the window where the scenery outside where could be seen.
The light from stalls outside reached the room and performed as the main source of light inside.
He pressed the small brown lampshade over the wooden table next to his bed. The weak light coming from the lampshade touched his face as his eyes gazed upon it.
"I need to turn my mana perception off, I'm seeing things I shouldn't." He rubbed his hand on his face.
He laid his back on his bed, as his eyes gazed at the ceiling.
"I'm already here. The Ashendar Kingdom."
His eyes closed. "My body doesn't need sleep but being able to sleep is a good thing too."
"What a tiring journey."

The touch of morning sun reached his room as the new morning finally arrived. Roshan sat on his bed as he opened his eyes, but instantly stood up the moment he activated his Mana perception.
"Wha- what is she doing here?"
He picked his mask and rushed towards the door, the person leaning at the wooden wall, stared at him with a smile.
"What now? I thought we're already done last night? You've already helped me a lot."
"Hold your horses, Grumpy, isn't it a good day to take your very first quest?"
"I'm about to, but I saw you lurking right in front of my door and may or may not watching me while I'm asleep."
Levy smiled and walked towards the staircase in the middle of the corridor. "I'll wait for you downstairs."
Roshan shook his head as he stared at her. "Give me a break."
