Chapter 7 - 6. Diva's Suspicion

"Where's Rafa?"

Diva frowned when she didn't find Rafa where she usually spends his rest time. There was only Billy there with a cigarette in his hand.

Billy took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. When the recess bell rang earlier, Rafa immediately left without saying anything to him.

"I don't know, this canteen," said Billy nonchalantly.

"Canteen?" parrot diva. Her mind became restless. Why did Rafa go to the canteen? Rafa is most reluctant to go to the canteen during breaks like this. Rafa also will not set foot in the canteen if there is no need. Diva's mind was confused, she was afraid that Rafa would meet Luna in the cafeteria and talk about the match. Diva did not accept that Rafa had to be close to Diandra.

Billy looked at the Diva who looked furious in his place. "Why?"

"No," said Diva lied. Diva can't be calm in her place if Rafa hasn't come here too.

After a while, Rafa came with a happy face and sat beside Diva. Seeing the sweet smile on Rafa's face made Diva even more suspicious. There seems to be something strange about Rafa.

"Where are you from, Raf? It's been a long time coming here," said Diva curtly. She couldn't hide his annoyance.

Rafa, who smiled happily because he would soon be close to Diandra, tried to change his facial expression so that Diva wouldn't be suspicious. As Luna said earlier if Rafa had to hide this from the Diva.

"In fact, stunned," annoyed Diva increasingly suspicious. "Where have you been, anyway?"

"Canteen," replied Rafa nonchalantly. Rafa took Billy's cigarette that was on the bench and smacked it. "Don't bother me, Div. I want to smoke."

"What are you doing in the cafeteria?" asked the Diva. "Did you meet Luna?"

Rafa looked at Diva while frowning. Diva looks different this time. "What am I going to the canteen for? I'm going to eat snacks, Diva. You should ask me what I'm doing in the canteen. You idiot."

"What a stupid Diva," added Billy. Billy also shook his head at Diva. "What's the wrong Div? There's a burden to live? Tell me here."

Diva did not respond to Billy's words. There is something more important than that, namely lest Luna succeed in persuading Rafa to approach Diandra. Diva didn't want that to happen.

"You met Luna in the cafeteria?" asked Diva again to Rafa.

Rafa took a deep breath of his cigarette and exhaled in front of Diva's face. "So what if I meet Luna? Luna's my best friend too."

"So you met Luna?" Diva continues to force Rafa to be honest.

"Yes," replied Rafa.

"Then what did Luna say to you?"

Rafa scanned Diva's face. It's like something's changed in that girl. Rafa increasingly believed what Luna said, there was something strange about the way Diva asked him.

"Don't say anything. Luna wants to order food and I want to take it out. So I don't have time to talk," Rafa said lying like what he had promised with Luna.

"Certain?" Diva still can't believe it. She still suspects that Rafa and Luna met and discussed Rafa and Diandra's matchmaking. Diva can't just believe it.

"Yes, Diva."

"Div, you want to know one thing, don't you?" said Billy in a voice.

The Diva turned her gaze to Billy. "Why?"

"Here I whisper." Billy brought his lips to Diva's ear and whispered. "Rafa likes girls."

Diva was silent and looked at Rafa with various questions. Did Rafa really like Diandra or not? And does Billy also know if Rafa likes Diandra?

With the strange look that Diva gave, Rafa frowned. He threw his cigarette butt on the ground and stepped on it. "Why are you looking at me like that? Billy said what to you?"

Diva did not answer Rafa's question. Diva turned her gaze and looked at Billy with a frown. "How do you know if Rafa likes girls?"

"Rafa himself told me," said Billy while raising and lowering his eyebrows. "I don't think so, it turns out that Rafa can like girls. You know that girls only make girls as an outlet for him."

Rafa, who heard Billy's words, smacked his best friend's face. "Don't talk to me."

Billy winced in pain and wanted to avenge Rafa's actions, but Rafa quickly avoided him. "But it's true that you like girls."

"Diandra?" asked the Diva with a straight face. "Rafa likes Diandra?"

Rafa turned his gaze in any direction to avoid the Diva's question. Rafa took another cigarette and intended to smoke it, but Diva snatched it from Rafa's hand and put it back in the pack.

"Don't change the subject," said Diva. "Do you really like Diandra, Raf?"

Rafa was silent and glanced at Billy with his sharp eyes. What's wrong with his feelings for Diandra? Why does it seem as if Rafa is wrong for liking Diandra?

"I don't accept that you like Diandra, Raf. Diandra is my friend and you are also my best friend. I don't want my relationship with one of you to be damaged."

"Why don't you accept that I like Diandra?" asked Rafa, annoyed. "Is it wrong that I like him?"

"Wrong!" said the Diva loudly. "I know how Diandra is and what about you too. I don't want Diandra to fall into the same hole again. You don't deserve Diandra."

Billy, who realized this was his fault, could only stay silent and lower his face. Billy feels this is an internal problem for Diva and Rafa. And Billy didn't want to interfere.

"I can free myself for Diandra," said Rafa. "You can't measure me like that. I know I'm an asshole. But I can change for Diandra."

"Nonsense!" Diva stood up from her seat. "You can like anyone. But not Diandra. I won't want to be friends with you again if I still like Diandra."

After saying that, Diva left Rafa and Billy. Diva accidentally said that because she was carried away by emotions. After all, Diandra and Rafa are friends. What will happen if Rafa and Diandra are dating.

"Dog!" cursed Rafa harshly. Rafa looked at Billy sharply. "It's all because of you, Bill. If you didn't talk like that, things wouldn't be like this."

Billy lifted his face and met Rafa's gaze. At first, Billy thought he and Diva would tease Rafa because it turns out that Rafa can like women. But Billy didn't think it would turn out like this.

"I didn't know it was going to turn out like this," Billy said defensively. "Besides, Diva is really weird. What's the harm in trying if you like Diandra. 'It won't hurt her either."
