I have finally gotten a 7 day streak in Duolingo.
WHOOP WHOOP. ༼☯﹏☯༽

"The agency?!" I shake my head, refusing to believe it. Standing ready for more surprises.
"No. No way. They don't exist Dalia. They're myth, harbingers of chaos or whatever."
"They're not though, myth that is." She faced me, backing up to sit on the bed near me.
Lying against the headboard, she sighed and punched the bridge of her nose. "You're definitely going to want to sit for this." She motions towards the seat behind, and waves it to swoop me up. She rarely uses her telekinetic abilities, but when she does it means she serious. And for an ability she doesn't use much, she's made sure to master it just in case.
"You remember our last high profile case? The one we worked on with...Brie?" My body instantly seized up. My legs started to tremble, and I'm glad I was sitting.
We never talked talked about Brie. Not because he was a bad dude but because he was the exact opposite. The sweetest officer there ever was, and everyone knew it. Brie had risen the ranks with Dalia and I, all of us working hard to be the best. Out of the three of us however, Brie was the most talented with his ability, and at headquarters abilities meant life or death. There were the pinnacle of the social structure amongst officers. However, Brie wasn't there for the social stucture she was there to help people. But one day helping came at a greater cost, and that was the last case we ever worked with him.
"Before he vanished, he said something. Something really serious. It was about The Agency..." Before she could continued, a knock at the door startled me.
"Who the hell is awake at this hour?" Dalia whispers loudly.
"Well, besides us?" I tease, still shaky from the interruption.
Dalia moves towards the door, pulling up the holo screen to see who's at the door.
Her face ges serious. "It's the commander of the Ustrina division."
"Another body has been found. They're requesting you as soon as possible. We have to send you through the department's port." A voice behind the door stated.
Dalia opened the door wide, and I stepped up to the doorway to see the legendary commander of fire.
"Hello detectives, I hope the night gifted you some rest. I hate to do this but you both are urgently needed, so come along." The dark chiseled lean man, in the suit stood with authority. His posture rigid, but his aura calming. I get a feeling that he isn't a man that you would want as your enemy. His strikingly bright blood diamond eyes lazily peering at both of us.
❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥
"Ustrina, as you know, has soldiers deeply rooted in its culture. However there has been growing unrest. The volcanoes have become active, amid the growing violence in the air. Between the trouble in the capital, and the silence of the royals things are getting more heated than usual here."
Commander Kio, walked us to the market taking the long route. He spoke to Dalia about the city and the recent issues that have seemed to buzz between each residents.
"They still haven't made any remarks? At all?" The royals have always been a huge force in Ecrea. Ever since the night of the future heir's wedding however they haven't been seen or heard from. It was announced by officials that the future heir left the capital on business, but according to the bounty hunters corp the heir is missing. And everyone is searching for Verona.
"Nope, still nothing. I've gotten word that some of the protesters have broken into the capital. They're keeping it under wraps as a show of strength, but apparently the seven that broke in still haven't been located. And what's worse is that they're rumored to be working for something bigger than just the movement."
Dalia and I glance at each other. If he's referring to what I think he's referring to, then Dalia was right. This could be bigger than anything we've ever dealt with.
Shit.
I really thought I was going to go on my honeymoon by next month.
"Alright, here we are ladies. I apologize for not finding time to debrief you earlier when you initially arrived. Unfortunately I cannot be in four places at once." He winked.
"It's no problem, Commander. If you or Ustrina need anything, let us know. This thing in the air isn't just here, it's everywhere. And I have a feeling it's going to change everything." Dalia shakes his hand with a grim expression. Her usually light eyes, holding a faraway gleam.
With that I turned toward the port in front, it's bright energy blinding me as usual. Dalia behind me finishing up with the Commander, I stepped through and the nauseating rhythmic drumming began.

"So, Medeis huh." I shrug, panting on the floor doing everything I can not to up chuck everything I ever ingested.
"I really thought we'd be here under better circumstances, but I guess this is it." Dalia sighs, and no matter how much pain I'm in I can still hear the sadness in her voice.
"Okay, to get started we have to visit The Lounge." I groan. That place was harbored the most despicable nobles. Especially the ones that had gotten in their heads that they were better than everyone. Which naturally for them, means they can do whatever they want to the rest of us. Including Dalia and I.
"I know, I know. But bear with me here, how about we wait until you feel a better and read up more about this urgent calling. After, we go to The Lounge."
I manage to grumble, and shakily signal a thumbs up. I'm not usually this bad at holo ports but when I'm not ready for it, or it isn't planned my body has a very difficult time adjusting to it.
"Whoa." I turn my head to see what had her attention. A thick black file was flipped open to the first page, and Dalia's face went sour.
"Lilith. We weren't called because there was another victim. We were called because a suspect was reported, and not just any suspect. Someone said they saw a rebellion member at the local pub. They could make out a suspicious tattoo, and when asked to describe it...it was concluded to be the sigil for. You've got to be kidding me. The Agency."
"The rebellion that member is a part of is a very old one that has been after the royals for a very long time. They have been known to be ruthless and violent, in the past they have taken responsibility for over a dozen successful assassinations. Ecrea's defense department chases down every lead, but each time we get close they disappear for years. Only to resurface slowly in silence.
They are dangerous assassins/mercenaries that despise the nobility, throne and the royals." She read, hazily.
I quickly sat up, ignoring the pain in my lower abdomen. The world tilted as I snatched the file away, reading it myself.
The words that read on the file stood out like water on fire.
:The suspect in question has one captive.
Reported to be highly dangerous, and works for the infamous Agency:
