At the 10th floor. "Are you sure you're alright?" Feya asked.
"I just used too much mana, but I'm fine" Even if my mana can be restored, my body can't keep up with it.
Katsumi is currently unconscious due to the paralyze spell that the last enemy used, but she's fine. I can't believe we would actually reach this far.
"The next floor will be the last floor right?" I asked Feya.
"Yes! We already defeated every guardian on this tower, the top floor is usually the place where they put valuable treasures. Sometimes they lock up tough creatures like dragons"
"Dragons? That would be bad news! Seriously!" I exclaimed.
"Indeed, in our current state it would be impossible for us to defeat one" Feya replied.
We couldn't really go back. Once we open the door and enter to a floor, the door automatically locks. We can't really jump out of the window because it's too high and it would be dangerous to climb down because evil beasts might throw spears at us.
Since we can't do anything at the moment we decided to just stay and rest for now.
Morning came and Katsumi finally woke up. We then sat down and planned our next move.
"So how strong will our enemy be?" I asked.
"Hmm... If you think of it, we are in a level 5 tower so the chances of us facing a dragon would be low." Feya replied.
"Then how strong are we? I'm a level 4 mage and Katsumi is a swordsman who's level 4 as well."
"I'm a level 5 fairy, but I am only a support type so I can't really fight" Feya explained.
"What if there was only treasure and no enemy after all?" Katsumi asked.
"Then let's just see for ourselves. Katsumi you'll be front Feya you go support us at the back and I'll be middle for range attacks. Let's do this!" I hope my plan go smoothly.
Katsumi is the toughest one so she can go front, I can do range attacks and Feya can easily support us from behind
We went up and saw a chest in the middle of the floor. Then we saw a statue of a dragon with ancient markings below it.
Since there's no enemy nearby we went and open the chest but just after opening it, the ground started to shake.
The statue started to crumble, revealing something inside of it. It appears to be a dragon in a form of a human child.
"Look, she's still weak probably because she just revived. Let's go and finish her before she regain her strength." Feya said.
"I don't think we should, she probably needs help" I replied.
"What are you talking about? Don't get decived by her weak appearance. We should stop her before it's too late" Feya said to me while I approached the girl.
When I got close to her, a blast force pushed me away. The girl then grew two horns then a tail and a pair of wings, she opened her eyes and looked at me angrily.
She charged me with lightning speed, it was too fast so I couldn't think of what I should do.
I was in panic so I accidentally dropped some stuff inside my bag. The girl then saw the necklace that my father gave me and suddenly stopped.
She then curiously looked at me making me frighten after what just happened.
"E... Ex ... Exuese me... what's happening here?" I asked while I tremble in fear.
"Sorry, Isui got angry because someone takes Isui's treasure." The girl said after she calmed down.
"Oh sorry, we didn't know it was yours we won't take it anymore" I said.
Everything was going well, we didn't have to fight the dragon and we made a new ally. But we didn't expect what would happen next...
"Huh? Don't make laugh. I'll be taking this magic crystal here" Feya said.
"Don't! Isui's Crystal too dangerous for someone to have" Isui shouted.
"Feya... What are you doing?! Put it back! Katsumi, stop her" I said.
"You all lowered your guards and trusted someone you just met a day ago, that's hilarious. Now, my job here is done. Don't worry we'll probably meet again soon." Feya said and then flew out of the window.
"Noo, Isui's crystal... no..." Isui cried.
"So she was just tagging along with us from the beginning because of that crystal, why did I trusted her so quickly?. We got fooled by her." Katsumi said.
"But why did she wanted that crystal? I'm confused." I asked.
"The symbol on her shoulder, I think I saw that somewhere... I remember my captain telling me something about a group of people terrorizing villages and even cities. They are said to be people who works for the Demon lord army." Katsumi explained.
"But what do they want the crystal for? Isui, do you know anything?" I asked Isui who's crying right now.
"Y-yes... The crystal... Can...
