For some inexplicable reason, I felt a little nervous. I can't figure out why I feel nervous at these times. I should not be discouraged especially at these times.
"Agent Moon, are you okay?" I looked in front of me and saw one of my squads. I just nodded at his question and he returned to his seat.
Is it just my instinct or something but I don't lose my nervousness. I just arranged my belongings and checked to see if my belongings were missing. I ignored my overthinks and went to the forefront to remind them.
"Hello everyone, you know all of you knew that this is my last mission before my first ever mission about something is waiting for me. But as you can see I'm chilling here but deep inside I'm wondering what's things off waiting for me. And for those who have a family outside in this world... Stay Alive." after I said that I looked at the woman who hold her son tightly after she heard what I say.
I walked over to my gear and signaled that I was about to start. After I signal them I went to my car and drove to where we should go. A few minutes later I arrived safely and I had the things ready.
When I finished preparing I went out and it was like in slow motion that I was walking towards the abandoned building. I feel like I'm in the movie and then I'm the star of that movie. I let out a soft laugh and suddenly my face became serious when I saw that I was aiming at this place.
"Gotcha." I whispered and grinned. I signal my squad to distract the guards so I can enter perfectly. I can't wait for it to end because I feel my life will change and I will make sure I am ready to face that test.
I started entering the area. When I entered the abandoned building, I silenced the guards inside the building. As I walked inside one of my squads spoke up and they did their job quickly.
"As I expected." I said with a devil smile.
I went to the main office of their boss and at this time it looks like their boss is already sleeping and doesn't realize that maybe tomorrow he will not be handling this abandoned building. He will just look for an abandoned place but why here? What a stupid men.
When I entered his office, I saw their boss slumped over his office table. What the fuck. I quickly went to him and checked his wrist.
"Fuck!" I cursed out of breath.
Their boss no longer has a pulse. It looks like someone has come before us but we have different interests in this man. We just need to get the files of his interactions and I will leave but in this case, they kill him.
I was about to turn around but suddenly I felt someone looking at me and when I turned around. if my reflexes weren't fast, his fist would have hit me. Fuck. I quickly avoided my body and faced the person in front of me. I was stunned on my feet when I finally looked at the man in front of me.
"You?" I said confusedly while looking at the man in front of me. This is...
"Hey Agent." He said.
Him. He was the man who the fuck looking at me that night. I couldn't control my emotions anymore and quickly attacked him. I quickly raised my foot to kick him but he also quickly avoided it. We kept fighting and even though I could hear my squad calling me through the earpiece I was wearing, I couldn't answer because my emotions were overwhelming. I can't stop my emotions anymore.
"Who the fuck are you?" I said coldly when I cornered him in my arms and we fought for almost a few minutes.
Even though I didn't see his face that night but I'm sure it was him and just like now he was laughing like crazy. I tightened my stranglehold on him so much that he almost lost his breath. He stopped laughing and his face was red from lack of breath.
"I said, who the fuck are you?" I repeat what I said. He laughed before speaking.
"You really don't remember me, Eleora?" he said and he started to laugh again like crazy.
My arms wrapped around his neck tightened even more and when I realized what he called me, I felt like I lost my breath. Only one person calls me that name. Everyone always calls me Neoma because I don't want them to call me by my second name. Because I remember one person.
I let go of his grip and the man ran to the window but before he jumped, he left something with me that surprised me.
"Nice to see you again, Eleora."
I don't know how many minutes I stood there, I only realized when I remembered my mission. I quickly took the files but before I left the office I looked at the person who should be paid for what he did but now he is dead.
I don't know any more about these files because of the person we are supposed to get information from. Is no longer breathing. I think wasted my time here.
I just remembered my squad and said that I got the files but I didn't say that their boss is dead and about the man earlier.
But when I already out of the building. I told them what happened earlier but I just said that I didn't meet anyone in the office.
"Mission Accomplished." I declared about the mission to them.
While we were on the trip, I still couldn't get out of my mind what happened earlier. That can't be. It's not him. It's not my brother. He's already dead. I swear. With my own eyes I saw him among those who were shot that night.
