Further into the garden, Ezekiel lean's on a tree, his hand braced against the tree. "You should go back for now, Rani," Alice say's from beside Ezekiel. "If he falls back into a blood frenzy then you will be in danger."
Rani stand's frozen at the bloodlust coming from Ezekiel in wave's, before she clenches her jaw resolutely. "He has given me no reason to doubt his resolve, if he was going to hurt me then he could have in the spirit realm. I'm staying right here."
"You're a fool," Alice spit's out angrily, "If I can't protect you and he ends up harming you, weather he wants to or not, it'll hurt him more then you think."
Ezekiel turns his gaze over his shoulder, "Enough," he says through gritted teeth, "She can stay if she want's too," his free hand trembles by his side.
Alice turns a startled gaze to Ezekiel, "As you wish," she move between them, "Can you bring it to reign, or do you need to drink from me?" she gestures with a hand to her neck. "It'll be far easier to control after you drink from someone."
His nose twitches as blood scent's flow over his senses, he takes a deep breath. In his mind images flash continuously, the flesh of low ranking monsters tearing, and sound of bone's crunching fills his ears. When a familiar voice resounds in his head, "Ahem, Testing testing, Can you hear me, My little Demon Prince?" His hand clenches on the tree, tearing through the wood, the sounds of wood crushing in his hand echoes loudly.
"You, You're the Previous Sin of Gluttony, what do you want?"
"Oh my, it was your decision to take my power and make it your own, Zeke. Although... at your current rate you will run rampant and lead us both to our graves." The voice sigh's lightly, "I have blocked the memories from your frenzy from assaulting your mind, use this time to bring yourself back under control."
"What exactly do you think I've been trying to accomplish?" His retort comes quickly back, "What do I need to do?" He asks after breathing for a moment and having no progress.
"You need to drink from the one you wish to, but only a small amount. You need to do this often, 4-5 times a day." The voice falls silent as an odd feeling spreads through his mind, images appearing and disappearing quickly. "Oh my, it's no wonder you're about to loose control. What exactly were you thinking, suppressing yourself for an entire day from your desire?"
"I, what do you mean?"
"You need to drink from Rani. You needn't worry about her blood supply, everyone above a certain level is naturally enhanced with their healing factors. So long as you don't drain her, then she will be safe."
"I can't do that, the pain from having their neck's bitten must be insane!" He says insistently, rubbing his forehead exhaustedly.
"Oh, It's painful is it? Did either she or Alice cry out in pain? I think not, a vampire's saliva is special. It's like a healing potion, a anesthetic, and an aphrodisiac all in one. There's a bigger reason behind why both you and Alice lost yourselves for an entire night then simple instinct. As long as they ingest even a little bit of your saliva, it will not cause any pain."
"Then why did I feel pain from Rani when I..." Ezekiel trails off in his head, as his eyebrow's lower, "You mean because I didn't kiss her first, when I first bit her it hurt? Why did the pain fade away?"
"It faded because you directly injected your saliva, or as most people call it, Vampire venom directly into her blood stream. Believe me, I've been doing this far longer then you, Zeke."
He turn's leaning his back against the tree with a sigh, before responding. "I will do it, but what is your name? You can't want me to call you Queen of Gluttony, that's a bit excessive. Also how are you speaking to me in my head?"
"I will explain all of this later, for now...you should pay attention to your friend's, they are quite concerned..." The voice slowly fades away, but a lingering presence still seems to remain.
Ezekiel opens his eyes after a few moment of preparing himself, "Rani," he say's, unexpectedly his voice comes out in a dry croak.
A soft rustling of clothing brushing against skin hit's his ear's, before she enters his line of sight. Standing directly in-front of him in a light blue dress, with a large V in the chest accentuating her collar bone, and in turn her cleavage. "I'm right here, what's wrong?" She asks looking up at him with worry lining her face.
He pushes off the tree, standing up and smiling gently. He reaches out a hand beaconing her to come to him with a finger. Finding his mouth filled with a well of saliva he swallow's it down, "I want you, do you want me?" His voice this time comes out slightly husky, as his eyes shimmer red.
She step's forward, but when he reaches out a hand she holds up a finger, stepping in close enough that he can feel her breath on his neck she whispers in his ear, "In that case, wait right here, when I am ready I'll call out for you." Her cheeks flushed red as she playfully retreats.
Ezekiel's mouth opens to leave room for his fang's, his breathing slightly heavy, in response he nod's slowly. "I'll wait until I hear you."
Rani slowly spin's around on her heel, her pace slow as she let's her hips sway, the light summer dress she wore accentuating her body's curves. As she softly hums to herself, a large smile on her face.
Alice step's back from the two, a playful smile on her face, "I will tell the other's that you're, indisposed of for the time being. Master, Be careful that you don't go too far, her body isn't as strong as mine is," Alice says shy smile.
Ezekiel turns his gaze to her, a wry smile on his lips. "I'm sorry, after doing all of that..."
Alice laughs lightly, "I'm a 500 year old vampire queen, we are a race built off of fulfilling carnal desire's. Not to mention in this world it is very common for people with power or prestige to have more than one or even 2 women at their disposal." She looks at him wiping a tear from her mirth out of her eye, "I will tell the other's you two will be indisposed for the day," with that she winks, turning and walking back to the group.
Ezekiel leans his head against the tree, closing his eyes, as he uses his sense to their utmost. The sounds of servant's and nobles walking, the talk from the garden area, the familiar footsteps of Rani as she slowly walks her way through the castle corridor's, accompanied with all of their scents.
Alice walks out, among the chatter and speculations of the other's, a smile crosses her face at the level of trust they place in her master. "Ah, Hello lovelies, Rani and Ezekiel will be...preoccupied for the time being. I can discuss these things in place of Master if you would like?"
King Jacob turn's his head, meeting Alice's gaze, "If that is what Ezekiel wishes, then please tell us anything you know." He nods his head slightly to her, motioning to a chair with a hand.
"Well then~ I suppose I should start with the history, and how Vampire's themselves came into being." Alice say's walking around the table slowly to build suspense, "As everyone know's, the War of Twilight occurred in between this kingdom and our neighbors to the north, The land of the Night. What sparked this conflict," Alice say's looking at Isaac's confused gaze, "The answer to that, young hero is that the land to the north was raiding the settlements of Esparia, leaving death, bloodless bodies, and even half eaten corpse's in their wake. In retaliation, the Pope of that time, and the King of that time, Jacob's great grandfather, Jerald, joined forces. This turned into a bloody war that lasted 15 years. Now, what was the reason this lasted so long? The answer to that is the vampire's, the ones who consumed the corpses of the fallen namely, grew stronger and stronger with every feeding." Alice sigh's sitting across from Isaac, the only one at the table who didn't know any of these facts. "Why do you think that is, Isaac?"
"I.. don't know how that would be possible, unless they consumed the energy from the body?" Isaac scratches his head.
Alice sigh's at his answer, turning to the other's, "Let me ask you all this then. Does a race decide weather something is evil, no matter how they are created? Or would it be a choice, a choice bred from circumstance?" Her gaze meet's not the king's, not Tia's, but Isabella's, "You've already accepted that Ezekiel is a vampire, Yes?"
The princess start's slightly at the sudden question, "Well, yes? He has done nothing to harm any of us, he's helped our research, and has been nothing but diligent in his training."
"All of these thing's he's given, and done, despite him and his companion's circumstances. Let me ask you all this then. A what if, if you will." Alice smiles slightly, pointing her final question at the King himself...
"What if he is the new Demon King of Gluttony?"
