The coach told one of the boys to stand Infront of Lesley and try to block her from scoring.
Lesley dribbled and still scored. The coach added two then three after forth, no one wanted to go again since the didn't like a girl beating them.
" Fine, you are on the team. Practice are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. When there's a match you'll be informed." The coach said.
Harry went to congratulate Lesley for being on the team.
" Hey, Les congrats on making the team looking forward to playing with you." Harry said and did the secret handshake that him and Ryan formed with Lesley, which Ryan saw and didn't like.
Ryan went over to congratulate Lesley but Harry unknowingly bumped shoulder with him and took Lesley away from where they were standing before.
Ryan stood there staring at the empty space that they once were, he turned around and saw Harry putting his hand on Lesley shoulder, which made him wanna rip them apart.
" Hey Lesley," he turned around and called her.
This made Lesley drop Harry's hand and turned to meet him.
" Yeah." That's what he wanted, he wanted Lesley attention for only himself.
He smiled which too Lesley aback, she was surprised that Ryan smiled at her.
Which seemed like a rare thing for him to do, it wasn't only her that was surprised all the boys in Ryan's team were.
" Congrats on making the team." Then he patted her head.
Ryan's teammates were bewildered, cause anytime a new teammate comes, Ryan sees them as an obstacle and takes a long time to accept them.
Here he is congratulating her and patting her head with a smile which was so unlike him.
Harry was surprised, he thought maybe Ryan was taking his advice and being nice to her or did he have an alternative.
" Thanks, it's quite surprising coming from you. You know since I poured you a drink during lunch." she smiled back.
Ryan didn't forget he was still battling in his brain, if he should be nice to her or not.
" Forget about that, we might have started on the wrong foot but we can still be friends."
Everyone was listening to their conversation, all of his teammates had an intuition that there was something fishy in the way Ryan was behaving with Lesley.
" Sure, we can. Bye Silver see you tomorrow."
Guess she won't stop calling him silver, he said in his mind.
" Bye," he waved at her and she waved back.
Harry wanted to follow her but Ryan held his shoulder to stop him. He gave him a look which Harry couldn't understand.
" So you want to follow her home." Ryan said there was a hint of sarcasm.
He wasn't asking him but he was telling him.
" Why do you say so?" Harry asked.
" Cause the way you have been following her around seems like you want to live with her."
" Boys, we will closing early today see you on Friday." he forgot to say Lesley.
" Oh and Les, Lesley." he said.
" Come on." Ryan says to Harry and they leave together.
" Come on Amy, Let's go." Lesley said and Amy walks with her as the leave the school and they enter the car.
" Did that silver hair boy just ask you to be his friend?"
Amy asked.
" Yh, his name is Ryan. So, what about it? "
" Is not like there's something wrong, but that dude is famous. He is not just friends with anybody and it's usually people that beg to be his friend and this is like once in a blue moon thing, he just asked you to be his friend.
Looks like Lesley is becoming famous on her first day of day school."
" What did Lesley do? and who asked her to be his friend?" Mr Lewis asked.
" Chill dad, it's just one of the coolest and most handsome dude in high school that asked her to be his friend."
" He just asked me to be his friend and he didn't even ask me on a date so stop making a big deal out of it."
" If you say so, but if I were you." Lesley cut her off.
" Which you aren't." she continued.
" The whole world would have known."
" That's why he didn't ask you. He is not the only one that's handsome, Harry's handsome."
" But he is the only one with silver hair."
" He's hair is a mixture of silver and black, so he might have dyed it."
" He wouldn't have, caused his mom had silver hair."
" Where's his mom?" Lesley asked.
" How would I know, you should go and ask your new friend."
Mr Lewis looked at Lesley and Amy talking more like arguing and it was like a reminiscence of Amy and his wife.
" Now you are behaving more like a human I thought you were different."
" I've been watching some movies and videos so I'm quite catching on, on humans stuff."
" O M G, Lesley is this you." Amy says and shows Lesley as well as Mr Lewis a video of Lesley on her phone that had gone viral.
It was the video of Ryan and Lesley during lunch period.
" Now I see why he asked you to be his-ohh" Mr Lewis almost hit another car because he lost focus on the road.
" You should be more careful dad." Lesley said.
The rest of the ride home was quiet with Amy and Lesley staring at their screen and Mr Lewis focused on the road.
