As Adam sat in the restaurant, time seemed to slip away unnoticed, his thoughts completely consumed by the words of the unknown author. The book, more akin to a fantastical tale than an informative account of the abyss, painted vivid descriptions of territories ruled by mighty demons and a grand castle housing a being so powerful that even the greatest demons prostrated before it. The author's narrative also touched upon the haunting ceremonies that took place every century, shrouded in veiled circumstances that echoed with cries and sorrow throughout the abyss.
Despite his best efforts, Adam struggled to connect these events to the abyss he knew so little about. Closing the book at its halfway point, he sighed in frustration. The absence of familiar names, such as Jundla or Shegar, left him longing for clearer information. The closest he came was encountering tales of a young Great Demon who was hailed as a savior at a tender age.
