they slowly approached the cave and were ready in their fighting stance, Jiang Chen wanted to use hundred shadow sword technique to see how powerful it is, he ordered dulu and dudu to distract the flame lion and he would start attacking it as they were done with their plan dulu and dudu rush forward as they were tier 3 beast but together they could fight a tier 4 beast which was alone.

Jiang Chen used his technique, sun was already setting while they were fighting the flame lion it wasn't an easy fight after fighting for half an hour Jiang Chen realized the this sword technique is more effective in darkness and can even summon few more swords from the shadow of the opponent and pierce them without giving them any chance to dodge after fighting for another 15 minutes Jiang Chen finally won as flame lion was constantly bleeding and lost it's strength to move Jiang Chen moved closer and killed the flame lion with his sword and could see a black mist going inside the sword which can be said that it has absorbed the shadow of the victim after resting for some time Jiang Chen tried to summon the shadow and a three meter tall and 2 meter long tier 4 beast flame lion appeared but it was black in color just like a shadow and stood in front of Jiang Chen like a puppet.
Jiang Chen ordered it to go and hunt some beast for their dinner as he didn't want to wast the food which he had and could be used while they have a food crisis or if they get stuck somewhere, after that he turned towards the body of the flame lion and stored it inside his storage ring and could fetch him quite some gold, he went towards dulu and dudu who had few open wounds and were bleeding through few of them, he patted their head and took out 4 pills and gave them to both of them after talking the pills their wounds could be seen healing at at a very fast rate that can be seen with naked eyes, after that he told them to find a huge rock that could cover up the caves entrance and he started walking towards the cave
as he entered the cave he saw a spirit herb which was emitting a faint white light, he went closer and picked it up and saw that it had a dense spirit qi getting collected towards it, which could help him cultivate faster in future, he kept it in the ring of reincarnation and looked at the end of the cave there were few bones some were of beast while some were of humans he searched through the pile of bones

He cut his finger and put a drop on both the beast eggs as they hatched and one could see 2 ting bird like figures coming out of the eggs, Jiang Chen was excited to see which beast was it when the egg properly hatched, one blue color bird and one red color bird were coming out for the eggs.
Jiang Chen was shocked to see these birds as he has seen the picture of these bird when he was small and used to read a lot of old history books these bird were know as elemental birds and always come in pairs the ones in front of him were water and fire elemental birds and were of high bloodline purity they can reach peak of tier 9 and when they reach the age of adulthood their size can be 100 meters tall, he patted both the birds on their head, after seeing the person in front of them as a father figure the birds flew and sat on Jiang Chens lap.
He gave then 1 pills each and the birds slept after eating them, he told the Shadow lion to inform him if anything happens and went besides dulu and slept.
