Chapter 11 - Untitled...

"Wait!" a clear voice rang behind them at that moment. Due to the girl's scream earlier, several eyes had turned to look at them. The boys subconsciously turned towards the direction of the voice. A few feet away from them, a tall figure leaned on a black Maserati. It was a male. His arms were folded, accentuating the neatly ironed Qing Yu uniform he was putting on. His school jacket blue gently around him due to the breeze. He was also putting on a face mask, thus, barely anyone could recognize him. However, his deep set eyes that seem to contain unconcealable anger was a sight to behold.

"You seem to be looking for me?" he asked, his gaze leisurely fixated upon the boys.

One of the boys growled, "Who are you?"

"You've been looking around for me but you don't even recognize me? What a shame!"

"Yan Yehan, you asshole!" the boys instantly forgot about the girl and driver as they approached him. There was an evil snicker on their lips; a proof of what evil they had in mind towards him.

"I heard you bailed out on our fight. Are you scared?"

"Scared?" Yan Nuan pursed her lips and glanced at the boy with golden hair who had spoken. Her thin lips moved and she snidely remarked, "Are you worthy?"

The boy laughed mockingly, "I hear they call you Bro Yan. You better not be too proud today. Your lackeys are not here."

Some distance away at the end of a corridor, a few boys stood by a window as they watched the scene in the parking lot. Yi Han was amongst them. He called out in a panic, "We should go and help Bro Yan. He is in trouble."

Another boy glared at him. "No. He disregarded us. We cannot forget that. Let him learn to keep his promises."

At the lot, Yan Nuan shook her head helplessly. She had barely been in this world for two weeks and was already in trouble. She pulled off her jacket and folded it before handing it over to her driver. She then beckoned to the boys. "Come on."

The boys sniggered proudly and pulled out pocket knives from their pockets shocking everyone who had been watching. A man panicked and immediately dialed the cops. Yan Nuan merely glanced at them indifferently as they approached her and her thin figure immediately moved.

It was so fast that the boys struggled to see him. All they could make out was a blurry figure passing by them. A howl rang out in the parking lot and one of the boys fell on his knees. Everyone looked in his direction and they saw that tall figure standing behind him with the knife in his hand as he placed it next to the boy's neck.

The sun shone on his face showing the teasing smile in Yan Nuan's eyes as she gazed at them. A very cold smile that it chilled the hearts of everyone who saw it. The boy she attacked tried to struggle and lifted his hurting leg. Yan Nuan didn't stop him. She let him struggle and manage to stand up before lifting her leg and kicking him in the knee joint once more.

He groaned in pain and fainted immediately. Yan Nuan ignored him and stood still as his already furious friend approached her. She grabbed her jacket from the driver, held it by its sleeve and flung it towards one of the boys. The jacket wrapped itself around the boy's neck and Yan Nuan immediately pulled him closer with it. She grabbed him by the elbow and threw him over her shoulder. He landed behind her as Yan Nuan dodged an incoming punch. She grabbed the attacker by his collar and threw him a punch in the chin. He held his chin in pain but it was only for a second because he got even angrier and threw himself at her.

Yan Nuan didn't waste time, though. She bent lower and wrapped her hind leg around his knee before flinging him away. As a result, the last boy who was approaching them suffered the blow and they both fell.

In the middle of the parking lot, a figure stood by the side as she calmly watched the group of boys writhing in pain. Her eyes were calm and there was barely any emotion in them. No one noticed, not even the people who had been watching the fight that she wasn't in the right state of mind. Yan Nuan stood unmoving. She couldn't return to her senses. Her body felt strangely powerful. She suddenly felt hyped up. It was as if she had returned to the days of being the leader of the Emperor's shadow army.

It was only after the siren of the cops blaring floated into her ears, did she return to her senses. What came to her vision of sight was the stern face of the school principal. Yan Nuan had lost track of what he saying to her and she turned around to look at cops who were arresting the boys lying on the floor.

One of the police men approached her. "We will be taking you in for investigation. Please come along."

Yan Nuan nodded and turned to her driver. "You should go home."

The driver was stunned. He sighed helplessly as he watched the cops lead her to their car. He had tried to persuade the young master to not join the fight but he hadn't listened. How was he supposed to explain to the master?

It was only this morning he had been commending the young master for turning into a new leaf but it turned out it was all a sham?

Yan Nuan was led to the car and she climbed into it but to her surprise, the girl from earlier was also sitting in it. Was she being arrested too. Yan Nuan sat beside her and said,

"I'm sorry."

"No. I ought to thank you for saving me," the girl replied and looked at Yan Nuan. However Yan Nuan nearly looked away in the direction of the window. She watched the tall building and several cars silently as they drove past them.

Few minutes later, Yan Nuan was sitting in front of an investigator with her back straightened and her expression unyielding as she stared at him.

He Chi glanced at the boy sitting across him and narrowed his eyes. Why does he feel that this boy is too calm for his age? And from the emotions in his eyes, it was as if he was merey at the police station to drink tea. He looked at the neatly written statement in his hand and felt even more sure. There was not even an hint of panic shown in the writer's movement when it was being written. He looked at the boy and asked, "You wrote here that it was merely self defense."

Yan Nuan nodded.

"However, according witnesses, you over powered the four boys all by yourself."

Yan Nuan lifted her gaze from the statement and stared at him. "Are you saying that I'm wrong for defending myself when I was being attacked?"

He Chi smiled when he saw the boy raised his guard up. He shook his head. "No. You were right. I was merely asking why you can overpower four people armed with weapons all by yourself."

"Because I'm strong?" Yan Nuan replied and folded her hands as she lean back.

He Chi was on the verge of bursting into laughter. He had no idea that the teenager was so narcissistic. He did not ask anymore and placed the statement on the table. His gaze ran over the teenager sitting across him. He wouldn't have believed it if anyone told him that the frail looking teen had beaten up the other hefty boys. However, he had no accusations against him. The boys had attacked him first with weapons in hand. "Why were you attacked? You didn't mention it"

Yan Nuan flashed him a sly smile. "Maybe because I'm very handsome and they fear I'll steal their girlfriends?"

He Chi smiled. "I hope not to see you here again, kiddo."

Yan Nuan narrowed her eyes as she stared at him. "I can see that you do not mean your words."

He Chi laughed and didn't reply. Truly, he wished to be able to see the young man fight personally.
