Isabella waited anxiously in front of her guest room, even though her body still clearly remembered how cold Yifan was. Seeing Isabella who was about to cry again Kiki walked up to her and then carried Isabella's small body in his arms the girl hugged Kiki tightly and rested her head on her cousin's chest. While Gabriel leaned against the wall beside the bedroom door and saw Kiki who was comforting Isabella he could see the look of worry and sadness in it that made him frown. Not long after, an old doctor with one nurse came out of the room and slowly closed the door again. Isabella, who was still in Kiki's arms, immediately let go of her embrace and turned to the doctor who smiled gently at them.
"How is Doctor Lucien? Is he okay?" Isabella asked with a worried face and a very sad tone. Seeing the worry on the beautiful girl's face, the old doctor named Lucien just smiled gently at her.
"He's okay young lady, it's just that being outside in this cold for too long has made him hypothermic coupled with the stress and fatigue he's been going through maybe recently made him faint and his immune system decreased so fast," Lucien said explaining to Isabella. Hearing the doctor's diagnosis made Isabella almost cry again but before that happened Lucien quickly explained to the girl not to worry.
"Please don't be sad young lady, don't worry because I have given him an injection and I have prepared some medicine and vitamins which I put on the bedside table along with a note of instructions. As soon as he wakes up I suggest making him eat easily digestible food like porridge and also warm drinks to warm his body." Hearing the doctor's last explanation made Isabella feel a little relieved she took a breath and after that thanked Doctor Lucien.
After saying a few pieces of advice to the three doctors Lucien and the nurse he brought over said goodbye to them. While Isabella entered the room to see Yifan, Gabriel stepped closer to Kiki and stood beside him while speaking very quietly.
"Meet me downstairs, there's something I want to talk to you about," Gabriel mumbled after that he immediately walked to take Doctor Lucien who was the Galanis family's doctor. Kiki could only stay where he was for a while until then he sighed and slightly turned his head back, he could see Gabriel walking beside Doctor Lucien without saying anything. He sighed and then he looked back at the front where Isabella was sitting on the side of the bed touching Yifan's sleeping forehead.
He walked forward to close the bedroom door very slowly. Then he immediately walked away to meet Gabriel who was waiting for him downstairs. When he arrived he saw Gabriel who was already sitting on the living room sofa while crossing his arms in front of his chest he lowered his head and closed his eyes, and Kiki walked over to him and sat opposite Gabriel.
"What do you want to talk to me about Riel?" Asked Kiki who leaned on the sofa and put his hands in his pants pockets. Gabriel slowly opened his eyes and glared at him. Kiki who was being stared at was also acting normal as if he didn't feel bothered and intimidated in the slightest.
"Why is he here? And from what he said he knew what had happened to Miss Kim, it looks like your lies have reached here." Gabriel continued to stare at Kiki with an annoyed expression on his cold face. But as if he was innocent and didn't care, Kiki just kept quiet and looked back at Gabriel which made the young man even more annoyed.
"Why did you lie to me? Why didn't you tell the truth that it was him who called Miss Kim at that time, and not Aska? And why are you telling the things that happened to Miss Kim to a stranger like him?!" Gabriel said sharply and harshly as he continued to stare at Kiki with suppressed anger.
"Stranger? He is a classmate and childhood friend of the princess just like you and me. Even though he wasn't always with the princess and they were separated when they were little, Yifan was a precious friend to the princess and vice versa. Yifan cares about the princess as much as we care about her." Kiki answered Gabriel's harsh words with his bass voice that sounded very firm and returned Gabriel's sharp gaze.
"But still he's a stranger who shouldn't know what's going on between our family." Gabriel furrowed his brow in annoyance. Kiki was also getting annoyed with Gabriel's harsh words.
"You shouldn't talk about what happened to him, you should just say you didn't know to happen anything so that he doesn't make sense waiting for Miss Kim in front of this house. A person like him doesn't deserve to be beside Miss Kim." Kiki couldn't stand Gabriel's harsh words, he finally said his voice and pointed sharply at Gabriel.
"Isn't it worthy to be beside her? Then what kind of person deserves to be beside her, Riel? Oh, is it like you? Listen Gabriel we should be happy that the princess has a friend like Yifan. He cares about the princess so he waited for hours in front of the fence of this house just to make sure the princess is okay, his feelings are sincere and care for the princess. I don't understand how you can say something like that to someone who is sincere and loves her? Oh, is it because you're afraid that someday the princess will fall in love with Yifan and eventually she won't need you anymore and leaves your side? Is it like that Gabriel! Say!!" Kiki's screams of exasperation in every word made Gabriel widen his eyes to shoot Kiki, but not long after hearing Kiki's last words made him hit the table beside him hard.
"ENOUGH!! I've heard enough of your bullshit Kiki!" Gabriel was so angry that he growled at the words. But that didn't scare Kiki at all and the brown-haired boy continued to reveal a sharp look at Gabriel.
There was a heavy and suffocating silence between the two of them. Gabriel and Kiki didn't want to budge and remained on their feet. Gabriel and Kiki were indeed born in the same year but Kiki was born in April while Gabriel who was born in August made Kiki a few months older than the cold-faced young man. Indeed, Kiki's nature is always childish when compared to Gabriel who is quiet and looks mature, but actually, Kiki is more open-minded and he will prioritize his reason and logic compared to his feelings, that's why Kiki is more able to handle a problem calmly and with consideration. for all the possibilities that will happen in contrast to Gabriel who will always prioritize his feelings for Isabella no matter what and whatever happens. Making the cold-faced handsome can't think rationally when it comes to the girl he loves. Kiki and Gabriel stared at each other intently until they wanted to say something but the words felt like they were stuck in his throat so he didn't say them. Instead of saying things that will make him regret them later, in the end, Gabriel chose silence and got up from his seat and then he left Kiki who was still sitting and staring ahead. Gabriel walked away and was about to go up to the second floor, on his way he met Isabella who was going down the stairs.
"Eh, Mr Cho where are you going?" asked Isabella who was confused by Gabriel's gloomy and annoyed face. But the young man just kept quiet and passed Isabella who looked back to see him walking steadily up the stairs to the second floor. Gabriel did not glance at and answered Isabella's question which made the girl confused and wondered what had happened to her cousin.
