Chapter 21 - The Heartbreak After The Battle

"The twelve. You mean that story." Satrain said

"Yes, it was a drawing in a cave in Kryos showing that there were wars in the golden age."

"The golden age?"

"Yes, it was filled with powerful gods and then there were the twilight demons that started trouble everywhere they went. Matthew, whatever you do. Follow your path and not the vision you see."

"Okay, I heard you Bami."

Matthew had calm down and Bami was concern about this situation. So he said, "Matthew training is done."

"But Master Bami," Han said

"Come on Han. We have to go and ask Lord Mapple about this situation."

"Yes, master Bami. I see you later."

They left and Matthew went back to rest and Ivy is watching over him until later on when they leave for the tournament. Back where Jeremy is at. He was going through something and he couldn't figure out how to do it.

"Emilia and Kim had our seen Kalayah."

"Yeah, she was outside with her parents," Emilia said

"Okay thank you. I guess. I better leave her alone for now."

"Are you okay Jeremy?"

"Not really Emilia but I don't think Kalayah can't come with us."

"Oh, I see."

Emilia start to tear up a bit but Jeremy pat her on her head.

"Be calm."

"But."

"Do you think Kalayah can protect herself?"

"I think so."

"We can't put her in danger but that up to her to decide the choice come or stay here."

"Okay."

"Kim, what do you think about all this?"

"I really can't say anything about this."

"I understand, you don't have to say anything did."

Jeremy went to go see Remi.

Knock, knock. "Remi can I came in please."

"Yes."

Remi was laying down in the bed and her eyes were red.

"She had been crying like crazy. I better make her smile then."

"Yes, Jeremy."

"I just want to talk to you."

"Jeremy, you can't help me through this okay. My brother was always with me and now he is dead."

Jeremy hung Remi.

"So you give up on yourself and now you in here crying until you can't cry no more and now you giving up on yourself. Can you tell I am worried about you?"

"You didn't care about me. You try to get the situation in your favor and look at what happens. You got defeated and then you got almost everyone kills. You thought you knew everything but you knew nothing. So I would like it if you stop hanging me your murder."

"Remi, I not letting go of you because I knew what I was doing but I didn't plan it through all the way, and for that I'm sorry but I can't bring back Jeff and either can you."

"There is a way to bring him back to me."

"No, there is no way to bring him back, and soon when you realize that the better."

Remi slaps Jeremy.

"How dare you say that?"

"It's true. You can't reincarnate people from the dead. Their soul goes to heaven or the underworld."

"I know that!"

"Then why are you crying still?"

"I don't know."

"I was alone for a long time. For some reason, I have been alone since I was five years old and my life before is gone and blank. I was even surprised that I have this power and I was foolish that I am even here now but I don't have the power as a god to reverse time and fix my mistakes because my mistakes are my motivates."

"I see."

"So please help me to learn and stay by my side and please don't follow this path."

"Okay but you know it's hard to keep a calm head."

Jeremy hung Remi again

"I will make sure you keep your calm while I am here with you."

"Thank you, Jeremy." Remi blush and kept crying in Jeremy's arms

Jeremy had walked out of Remi's room and he had close her door and he had thought about it a little more and Jeremy decided to look for the second key before it start to get too dangerous. Hawkeyes were shooting at targets and he was practicing shooting.

"Damn. I miss ."

"Hawkeyes," Bell said

"Hey, Bell."

"Look, I am not a marksman but I do have a gun and a sword and also a grimoire."

"I know that because that from Third Keys perks."

"Yeah, almost everybody had all this stuff."

"Yeah, thank Ty Frost for that."

"Yeah, because of Ty's ideology about the current society and he also discovered other worlds."

"Ty Frost is something else right Bell."

"Yeah Hawkeyes."

Hawkeyes shot the target again and he ask Bell something.

"What do you think if we would have won?"

"Well, I will probably be relaxing but what would happen if we were attacked again."

"Yeah, you're right. What if? It's the main question for today."

"Yeah, what if?"

Royal was looking for anything that will help them and Vez was helping too.

"Vermeil and Ryne or Frost, whatever her name is? They getting better." Royal said

"Yeah, they are."

"Vez, tell me something while we digging through all this junk."

"Like what?"

"Why did you help us?"

"Because I was undercover for a long time and Lord Billy told me to watch over Cloud but I felt like he losing himself. Slowly but he will die soon. If."

"If?"

"Yeah, If I help him in a different way then he will listen by the action instead of worlds, and the only way to do that is to take him down slowly."

"So you try to help him and try to make him understand by using Jeremy right."

"No, I not using Jeremy for that but to travel to different places around the world."

"You is something else you know that."

"Yeah, I am to do this huh?"

"No, you use it for a good cause so I don't get no problem with it. It's up to Jeremy but doesn't get him to kill with your plans."

"I not. Jeremy is way too smart to let that happen so easily. He nice but not that nice."

"Yeah."

Royal and Vez kept on searching for clues and Royal was thinking about Chris and what was he doing. In Garden Oaks, Chris was walking toward the ophrance.

"I guess it been cast out from Third Keys."

Chris was wearing a coat and the flower was blossoming and the wind was blowing to the west and he was making a beautiful garden and he was writing down all the names of the kids and he put down a few names and he also put Asher name down there and Chris was crying and he touches the names he put down and he had made a hand mark beside their names.
