"Luck. That's all it is."
Fate spoke watching many pieces disappear.
"Luck? That's not how I thought of it. It seemed to be the young one destroying all of your pieces with his own skills!"
The Unbeatable Being laughed looking at Fate's face.
Fate rolled his eyes thinking Unbeatable Being to be childish. He looked at the board and saw the pieces fighting as usual. Fate watched as both sides lost hundreds to thousands of pieces every moment.
Fate looked up from the bored to see The Unbeatable Being had stopped laughing and watched his pieces move forward and some start at the back once again.
"Oh my"
The Unbeatable Being watch a piece that had not moved in many millennia finally accend to Godlyhood.
"You're second strongest and second ever soul fragment seems yo finally be making a move."
Fate's hatred and malice could be felt throughout most of the Realm.
"I had forgotten that you did not enjoy this one's presence."
Unbeatable chuckled after his sentence.
"Just like your first soul piece, this one has destroyed many of my pieces without a sweat. Though, it should be a little easier to kill him off finally."
Fate had doubts about his own statement but decided to ignore it. After all, the power in that one was incredible, killing the first fragment was luck itself.
The two Beings were silent after the event that had happened. Unbeatable was in his usual unwavering emotional state and Fate was scratching his beard.
The two looked at the board watching their pieces die and Unbeatable having some reset at the start. This would continue on and on as it has for so long now.
Fate looked up at Unbeatable and vise versa when he noticed. It seemed as if Fate wanted to say something but didn't.
"What?"
"Nothing, just wondering many things."
"I see. Then stop."
Fate clicked his tongue at that point and looked at the board only to have his eyes widen in shock and panic. He even started to look around in a hurry!
"Are you finally becoming senile?"
Unbeatable laughed a bit before looking at the board for himself only to sharpen his eyes at the sight of no pieces on the board!
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!?!"
"WHY ARE YOU BLAMING ME YOU DAMN MORTAL!?"
The two looked at each other as they stood up. Both of their auras and intent to kill leaked out of their figures. The pressure was so intense and powerful that Beings, Beasts, and Magical Plants could feel it from over five hundred million kilometers away! Some even suffered being nearby by only a few hundred thousand kilometers!
"Zing!"
Unbeatable yelled as he opened a portal near his right hand.
"Like I would let you use that weapon!"
Fate yelled as he tried to stop Unbeatable by grabbing his arms.
Unfortunately for Fate he failed and a small pill-like object came out of a portal and flew into his hands.
Suddenly a massive greatsword, around the length of five Unbeatable Beings combined, appeared in his hands!
As it did he swung at Fate who was barely able to catch it.
"Did you already forget that you've grown weaker?!"
"No."
After his response Unbeatable's sword disappeared, in its place two long swords appeared in both of his hands.
One as dark as the void, in his right hand. The other was almost as bright as the Creator's radiance.
Unbeatable flashed the dark sword and suddenly all Fate saw was the pitch blackness of nothing.
"Fool!"
As he said this a golden spear appeared in his hands and tapped the ground, allowing him to see his opponent slashing at him with a red battle axe.
Fate stabbed at the axe, with one hand behind his back, and felt surprised when he was pushed back!
"Tsk"
Fate clicked his tongue as he pushed harder sending Unbeatable flying back a few feet.
When they both were about to charge at one another they heard a laugh.
"Hehehehehehe!"
They both turned to see a lanky black figure with a pumpkin head looking at them.
"This is quite the treat to see!"
They stood there looking at this pumpkin man, astonished how he is able to survive their fight!
"Oh! Oh! Would you like your pieces back?"
The pumpkin man held a huge bag in his hands with a smile on his face.
"You dare?"
Fate looked at the thing on the board and threw his spear only for it to be dogded easily.
"That was close, huh?"
Before he could get a response Unbeatable was already on top of him and slashed at him with a long sword made of some purple material.
"Close but not at all! Hehehehe!"
The pumpkin man said as he slid under Unbeatable, smiling with a big grin on its face.
They then chased after him Unbeatable using different weapons and even powerful magic!
Fate using chain-like magic to grasp him, only to miss along with his mysterious golden spear.
"You bastard! Get out of my way!"
"You're the one messing with my weapons and spells with your dogshit!"
The two argued back and forth only to eventually grab onto the pumpkin man!
"Now then."
"You die!"
Fate yelled finishing Unbeatable's sentence. However the pumpkin man just had a smile as he pulled two fruit from his bag.
"Here's your treat for getting my tricky trick! Hehehe!"
"Huh..?"
Before Fate could get an answer the Creator's aura appeared before them.
Fate immediately when to his knees while Unbeatable sat down waiting to hopefully get an answer. Although the Creator never appeared, his voice reached them.
"Good job my young ones, I know this is quite the trick"
The Creator paused to chuckle at his little joke.
"This one here I created to let you two ease yourself and not get too caught up in your game."
"That's dumb. That's the whole point of this game."
Unbeatable quickly gave his input on what was said, but was retorted.
"Indeed, however, there are time when you must have fun! I hope Tricky here wasn't too rude with his little trick, but those treats should sweeten you up!"
With that said, The Creator's aura disappeared, along with the one called tricky.
"What the.."
Unbeatable thought outloud as they appeared back in the game area with the pieces back on the board and the fruit in his and Fate's hands.
'Well.. I might as well enjoy this..'
With that thought he took a big bite of the fruit. When he tasted it he felt amazing and smiled a small and gentle one as he remembered his past.
Fate seemed to experience something similar as he shared the expression.
"I gues this isn't too bad."
"Well said, shall we continue?"
Fate suggested with a grin looking at Unbeatable as he savored the fruit's juice.
"In a minute, I'm enjoying myself in a way I haven't in so long.."
"Take your time then, only this once though."
"Yeah, sure."
The Unbeatable Being laid on his back and close his eyes and smiled with a beautiful and gentle smile. As he was laying there, he fell asleep as if a weight was gone and resting for a few days for the first time in eons.
