"I'll begin explaining the rules," Elder Song said inducing everyone to stop clapping their hands,
"We, elders, will give you the chance to surrender if you believe your opponent is too strong... but those who surrender will be badly evaluated by us!" Elder Song pointed out a simple fact. Surrendering wasn't part of the path a cultivator should have followed,
"Deep wounds on your opponents are allowed, thanks to the medical staff's presence."
Loris annoyedly glanced at him. The Infirmary was already full of wounded disciples from the day before. He would have liked to avoid having more work to do.
"Be aware though!" Elder Song continued, "Death might be a reality in this competition's phase but we'll intervene in case a disciple was to attack an already defeated opponent." Elder Song accurately explained.
