Arslan wore a bewildered expression at Elder Song's words. He realized how much Elder Song was willing to do to keep Arslan safe from the other elders' interference,
"I really got him wrong at first!" Arslan thought as a hint of regret seeped through his words. The firsts times Elder Song and Arslan talked were filled with distrust and unpleasant feelings.
Only a few weeks had passed. Arslan began to understand how much Elder Song was doing for him and what kind of risks he was taking. The Red Moon Cult was dangerous. Yet, Elder Song went to look for pieces of information about Arslan's family history and now he was defending him.
Arslan was aware of how such actions could expose Elder Song to danger. Arslan felt glad to have met him but he also felt sorry for how he treated Elder Song in the beginning. He was the first elder to help him after all.
Arslan decided to show him a more open attitude in the future in order to thank him for his help.
