A huge commotion happened every time an Outer Disciples Competition was about to be held. The most important event for every outer disciple was approaching and no one wanted to lose the chance to become an inner disciple.
The outer disciples fought hard against one another in the previous weeks to gain access to one of the only 100 spots in the ranking. Those who failed to succeed had to just watch from the bleachers encircling the arena.
Usually, the best disciples in the rankings were those coming from the Great Families. Arslan and Troy were the only ones between the outer disciples and, as such, they both held one of the 3 highest-ranking spots.
"I've never seen so many disciples on this ring!" Arslan exclaimed as he looked around after setting foot in the arena, 'I didn't believe we all could fit in but it seems I was wrong.' He thought after noticing there was enough space to fight.
